However, if you're dedicated , you can make it work. My friend and I are in our 3rd season now of Online Franchise.

Yes, after the first year , all of your vets are FA eligible. The CPU does resign a lot of their talent, and you also have first crack at your own, so its not going to be mass chaos in the FA market like you may fear.

Keep in mind too, that most every player with under 6 yrs service time will be retained by their teams as well.

The part about AAA/AA rotations -- there is none. The minor leagues are not playable at all.

There is no trade finder.

The part about 14 deals on day One - yea the CPU does not make any trades at all during the offseason so it waits until Opening Day to try to balance out whatever shortfalls the team has.

Another thing about Online Franchise - if you have injuries turned on, they are going to take place only in the games you play. No CPU teams will ever suffer any injury during a simulated game, leading to an inequity where you have more injured players than anyone else in the league.

Feel free to take a look at our league. We play out all 162 games and are at the midpoint in season 3:

There are other glitches I could go into to, but I don't want to depress you.
Agreed. But I think a big issue is MLB 15 online franchise is actually unplayable. Rosters take an extremely long time to upload. AND after playing a few games thr franchise is literally unplayable. No games sim and you can't play. Also I've heard many people say advancing to the playoffs and being in the playoff stage is unplayable. Bunch of glitches popped up which I found fascinating since they didn't even touch the mode.
