    Hitting "good" only 2 hr

Ive been getting many "good" swings but homeruns are not happening for me. ive hit alot of deep fly balls to the warning track but they wont go out. Im using Zone buttons on all star hitting. Its definitaly harder then last year online play.

About 3 games in and zero homers. I am playing with the Braves so that might explain it.

Patience...I hit two in my first seven or eight games combined and just erupted for six in my last two games. Like everything in The Show, the overall stats shake out, but there are cold stretches that can last 10-15 games where you're sure a HS team could hit better than your pros.

        Definitely. I agree with Trojan.

I hit 7 - yes 7 - homruns in a Franchise game on launch night. Been on a draught ever since. Keep at it, you'll see the long ball with good swings.

Though speaking of good swings, I've got a discussion in mind on that topic. I'm gonna play more and post if need be later on.

"good" seems to be a trick word for me, has been frustrating to say the least. I seem to get much better contact with "early".

I have noticed this year that the ball will really fly off the bat, and sound good like its a sure HR, only to be a warning track fly out. I really like how this was redone, as you see that IRL.

I think I have only hit 1 Hr, no more than 2 so far, given up a few more than that, lol. Last year it seemed if you got solid contact the ball would fly out of the park, definitely not seeing that this year, and that's a good thing imo. I typically struggle hitting anyway and this yr is no different, but I usually did get my share of HR's.

The "Good" prompt only means your timing was good, not the placement of the PCI.

Both need to be in place for solid hits and homeruns.

I've only hit 1 home run in 10+ games played thus far.

I've had numerous hits in the gaps, and even quite a few that bounced off the walls though, so I'm sure I've just been unlucky.

That's why I love this game. Was killing it in RTTS then went on a 3 for 21 drought. Then went 9 for 13 with 3 home runs lol. I wouldn't have it any other way

I don't know the exact number but I believe I've hit around 36 homers in about 29 games thus far with the Cubs. I'm on all star DD. I'm on full timing and I never use square or circle or directional hitting, always just X. It was really hard for me to hit homers with this approach last year but this year, entirely different.

It's been real balanced too, not just Kris Bryant or Rizzo, I think he has 3 HR but I called him up during the Padres series as the Cubs will no doubt do IRL. Most for me is Baez with 6.

The contact feedback we had the last few years needs to make its way back into the game. I think it would help explain the hit results better.

Agreed, especially when using directional hitting (which is essentially timing if you don't use the stick). I very often have good timing and hit a weak ground ball. That's pretty upsetting since there is nothing else I could have done. Then again, that's baseball I suppose.
