I have been testing an online franchise with a friend, in advance of the OSFM roster drop so now that the roster is out, and we do our REAL franchise, we know what we are doing.
Unfortunately, during the testing I ran into a small kink, and I'm not sure how to resolve it, or if it can even be resolved.
At the end of series 7 (in a 40 game season for 30 teams), I'm left with one team (CPU controlled) in a bye, that refuses to simulate.
I tried advancing the schedule, but it can't resolve the bye. I check back every ten minutes to retry simming the one game, but when I check back again, it's always set back to "bye". I checked for about 2-3 hours, and every time, the exact same result (So I may mistakenly be ruling out server error).
This is obviously game breaking, as we can't advance the schedule now. Which means we can't test and have to put off the real franchise indefinitely, until we can be sure the thing even works.
Here are some settings that might be relevant if someone wants to try to recreate the problem:
Division Type - Divisional
Number of Teams - 30
Number of Playoff Teams - 10
Total Games - 40
Schedule Type - Series (Manual)
