    Questions about the online franchise

So my friend and I started an online franchise and I have a couple questions. He created it so I'm not sure the settings but hopefully you guys can help me out/shed some light.

First issue, is the cpu games need to be simmed in order to advance? As we move forward and advance, the cpu vs cpu games don't get "played" automatically. My friend is saying he has to go in to the schedule and manually sim all the games to get them to move forward.

Second issue, even when he does that EVERY 1st game of a series we are facing the opposing teams number 1 pitcher. Sometimes they start the game with no energy as if they pitched the game before. Also, the announcers continually announce it's so and so's home opener and that so and so got their first hit, despite us being 20 games in.

Last question, unrelated to the first two (settings wise), can we play offline if the game is human vs human? We're in opposite Leagues, so if we were to meet in the WS can we avoid lag and just play on the same tv?

Are there some settings he could have changed or he set up wrong that is causing this or does this happen for everyone? Sorry if these have been asked before, but without customizable Sounds of the Show and this unrealism it's quite frustrating. Hoping it's just some settings we need to tweak. Obviously we'd have to start over but I'd have no problem with it.

    ANSWERS IN BOLD

First issue, is the cpu games need to be simmed in order to advance? As we move forward and advance, the cpu vs cpu games don't get "played" automatically. My friend is saying he has to go in to the schedule and manually sim all the games to get them to move forward. yes you need to sim the games. Rather than going into the schedule, it's easier to go to the Management section and go into the Game List. You can sim each series one by one or sim all games displayed, if theres no user games showing.

I've found that players getting injured or teams making trades resets teams rotations to 1-5, regardless of fatigue. After the CPU puts anyone on the DL or makes a trade, you'll need to manually go into their rotation and reorder it.

Last question, unrelated to the first two (settings wise), can we play offline if the game is human vs human? We're in opposite Leagues, so if we were to meet in the WS can we avoid lag and just play on the same tv? No, unfortunately every single game must be played over the network.

Well actually thats not true - you could change the scheduling type to one that slowly advances the league automatically (instead of open manual you could try flex) but I dont like that because it can cause other funky things to happen

Awesome thanks...what about the announcers saying it's always the home opener? Just something we have to live with?

Probably a really dumb question but I have never played online franchise and I was messing around with it last night and I couldn't find a way to play an online franchise 162 game schedule full playoffs with just one User. Is that something that you can't do in this game? Does there have to be at least 2 Human players and how do you upload a roster? Why can't I just select a team and start the season?
          MLB: Cardinals
          NCAA: Sooners
          NFL: Titans
          NBA: Thunder

No, there can be just one Human player. Just make sure you toggle all other slots to CPU.

You do need to select a roster, even the standard one should work. If I recall, that comes up by default however.

cool, thanks man. I just didn't get it, I picked a roster and tried to upload it, but it said I still needed to do that. So idk, I'll continue to mess around with it, I'll figure it out eventually.
