The Great Market Crash of 2K15

This week, the market has completely crashed and prices have been dragged down to the depths of hell.

Yes it is late in the game but that's not the main reason. 2K releases new players every week but even these new players have been going for super low immediately after their release.

2K is failing to keep gamers playing My Team Mode. Less people on the game means less people opening packs, less people in the market buying players. The low amount of buyers brought on the price crash. Sellers are done with the game and want to trade in their players for MT and call it quits....but nobody is BUYING.

2K MUST fix the gameplay for MT and also must add more flexible challenges that allow players to use their full team offline. They must also add some online challenges. This game mode is no longer competitive. No reason to play it anymore.

Ruby Jordan was released yesterday and is now only going for 220k on PS4

    -____-

That is ridiculous. These guys must add more content or no one will be on this mode anymore by next month. High suppy + Little Demand = Market crash
    Lineup:
    PG) Gary Payton
    SG) '95-'96 Michael Jordan
    SF) Sapphire Scottie Pippen
    PF) '95-'96 Dennis Rodman

2K won't add more content, compared to other sports game, 2K think they add one weekly challenge once a week is enough for us.
They don't care what we players want, they think adding a lot contents is a waste of time.
All 2K want is to let us to buy VC again and again.

I strongly disagree. These packs were loaded with the most interesting cards in the game and they frequently rewarded good players. Most stacked packs to date. The combination of that created more pack sales than ever, more pulls than ever, to the point where the buyers can't keep up.

        Supply outmached demand.

The crash wasn't caused by less pack opening. Quite the opposite. That's why these players are so common.

Plenty of people are still playing the game. What makes you think they aren't? The reason the Ruby players are cheap is b/c there's just a massive supply from pack openings and also the odds seem higher. Rare players like T-Mac, Onyx Lebron, and gold Jordans are still going for quite a bit. Those players are a better gauge of the market.

Yes but prices were falling even before these ruby packs came out. The amount of ruby cards available do explain why their prices are so low, but it doesn't explain why the prices of other cards are so low. Nobody has MT and nobody is buying anymore

Prices weren't falling. At least not on Ps4. Curry and Harden could go above 20k, Dwight's price went UP even though he was an adidas athlete because of the Rockets potential... They absolutely were not falling, outside of select cards like Onyx Kobe because of the code, or Westbrook because his season is over and interest is down.

Nobody has MT? Where did it all go? Where did all mine go? I had lots the last time I logged in, earlier today.

              Super dramatic.

You're making something out of nothing. Prices of other cards will obviously fall as newer, better ones are added to the market. Close thread.

They also increased the odds on top tier ONXY cards. Which is another reasons why prices are dipping. I agree, MyTeam lacks depth especially online game modes. But they are still tons of ppl opening packs and playing this mode.

Well the ruby packs did speed up the market crash. Wing players that where dominant are now replaceable with the max speed and quick dunkers which are available in abundance. And with the glitch that let a bunch of people get a ruby jordan on their first pack pull, that was the cherry on top.

Considering he is a 98 overall, dominant on both sides of the floor, and 200k on the 2nd day of release... Just says something.

Why would you buy Onyx Dr J or T Mac, when for 200k you can have a max speed Jordan, with great tendencies (the gold Jordans still have the better tendencies).

People keep ripping packs open, and MT is being sunk out at a high rate probably. Not just from packs, but from the 15% tax.

These ruby packs simply helped the market crash faster, especially cus of the Jordan glitch.

It might have helped if they didn't kill the odds of getting a ruby player from opening these packs. I have spent 500k VC and I didn't get one single ruby. I can't be that unlucky. On the other hand when I spent some MT I got a good amount of ruby players. The problem is I can't buy Jordan now because I don't have enough MT.

I was uploading a video yesterday(of the last 200k but I have the other two saved as well) but then the PS4 crashed and I had to hold the power button to power it off and then back on. So it made me start the upload again and I said screw it. I've never even uploaded a video before and that one was like 700MB and it was going to take like 3-4 hours lol.

Which is like what I experienced. I got nothing out of that first 300k VC and then a bit later saw that people were having luck opening them with MT. I did that and started having better luck. I opened 200k worth of packs yesterday with VC and didn't get a single ruby again.

I mean 500k VC and not a single ruby(didn't even have to be like Jordan or Drexler but I didn't get anyone) pulled from that.
