ESPN NHL 2K5 Rosters

Hello everyone at OperationSports, I'd like to ask if any of you would be interested in updated rosters for ESPN NHL 2K5? I have the PS2 version and soon, the Xbox version, If I can mod my Xbox I'd have the ability to upload updated rosters for both versions. but I have to know if anyone cares.

Personally, I feel like ESPN NHL 2K5 is the second best hockey game ever made (next to NHL 2004, which already has the update treatment), and it never gets talked about. I'd like to change that by making these rosters a possibility.

I have experience updating rosters in old sports games, In 2011 I put together a perfect 2009-10 roster for NHL 2K6.

You won't get a ton of interest for this old of a game. It's good, but it's not like NFL 2K5. It's the kind of thing you just do because you're doing it for yourself and then out of the kindness of your heart, you make it public.

I get it, It seems like it could work though, even moreso for Xbox because you can customize the horns and arena music (and even update them)

But if I do put this together I will release it for both systems.

Well scratch that my PS2 copy just died lol, I want to be mad, but then I realized that it's just a sports game and I can easily replace it, and it'll be complete, better than my disc only copy.

I get the Xbox version tomorrow.

I would've loved to have an updated roster for 2K5, though I'm not certain how that would even work on my PS2? Would it be the same process as on 360 using a USB stick?

AR Max or a Max Media disc.

I'd be really interested in updated 2K5 rosters ! By the way, are you going to be using the Flying Finn Editor or try to update everything ingame ?

What I recall is that the game wasn't responsive to attribute edits via Finn's editor (and maybe not in game as well). Finn's editor was great for making moves and setting lines.

I don't think Finn's editor exists anymore, so I'd be doing it in-game.

Updates that I thought some of you will be interested in

Not only did NHL 2K5 die on me, but my PS2 did as well, but the good news is that I got a modded memory card and will replace the system soon, since I still have my broken disc of 2K5, I might burn a working copy since it's legal, and resume roster updates I had planned for both consoles.

Also, every 2K5 roster downloaded regardless of console will come with every historic team's players renamed by default.

Wow, I just got back into 2k5 after my ps3 stopped reading discs, pretty stoked at the possibility of updated rosters, although I have no idea what AR Max is

I'm working on the Xbox version currently, Once I can replace my PS2 disc I'll resume work on that version.

Right now my biggest worry is attributes / sliders, I'm not sure whether to follow the guideline set by in-game players and their typings or if I should resort to more detailed approach.

If anyone can help me with attributes/sliders I'd be grateful, as I want the players to perform at a realistic quality.
