just wana see what is the general opinion for jumpshots is here, cause im noticing a trend @ the rec.

I don't know why but I like Carmelo on quick..but the most consistent is Lamarcus Aldrige on normal for me.

I have always used Kyrie on quick steadily, while trying literally every NBA-player jumper along the way, and several numbered releases.

Kyrie is the only shot that I know I will get perfect every time if I shoot correctly.


If I were to guess though I'd say the most used jumpers are Aldridge, Lillard, Rudy Gay, Tony Parker, Release 22, and maybe release 70 &/or 73.

If you can get good with Aldridge though it's a wrap, his release is stupid quick.

I really wish 2k would let us edit the jumpshot release and base separately like they used to let us do in previous games. There are a lot of guys who I like their release but not their base and vice versa. I really hope they put that feature back in next year.

Anyways, I am currently using Deron Williams on normal. I played a few park games the other day and I was making everything with that jumper. It is fairly smooth and doesn't look stupid and unrealistic like most of the effective jumpers in the game (LMA and 22). Damian Lillard's jumper is my back up jumper. It is pretty consistent and easy to time, but I think it looks weird so I only use it if I'm really trying to win. A few others I have tried an liked were 73, Tony Parker, Chris Paul, and Kobe. All on normal timing. I can't shoot through park lag with quick timing.

John Wall on quick ..best backups Aldridge, Gay, Jordan, 22 all on quick. Forget the lag defenses are normally to good to shoot anything but quick
