    Onyx Big O users!!

For anyone who has onyx Big O, I haven't been too impressed with him, I was really looking forward to him but his form is too slow, how do you guys use him?

He isn't meant to be used as as a standup shooter except on wide open 3s.

Most point guards are already like that anyway.

How do you use him? He's not someone you're meant to be dribbling around most of the shotclock with. He's a great finisher and makes open shots, but I wouldn't make him the focal point of my offense.

I don't even use him as a focal point, I feel I pick my spots with him, but maybe i'll try driving more

He's a beast. You can bully smaller guards in the post, get by bigger defenders for lay ups and kick outs, he's a amazing rebounder and defender, and automatic when open (especially mid range.)

Work the eurostep and other layup moves but also take advantage of his passing

His release point is pretty high on the jump shot, so you have to compensate.

Yeah, I might just try and use him a bit more differently, it was just frustrating because I played a Emerald Steph Curry and tried to take advantage of him in the post but none of his post fades or anything would go in.

That is the game mechanics. How does my Yao miss a post hook when he is backing down chris paul. Happened the other day on a switch

Sometimes I feel like the game just decides which player is going to win before the game even starts.

I agree with this. My biggest struggles occur when I play an all Gold line up.

my 95-96 MJ starts missing wide open shots, his unstoppable post fadeaway doesn't work as efficient.

Onyx Howard, Onyx Duncan get out rebounded by Gold Noah, Love.

Also 2k rewards this all gold line ups when they just zig zag and double team cheese the entire match.

Every time I see an all Gold Line up I get nervous not knowing whats gonna happen.

I feel your pain, it's annoying not getting rewarded for ball movement. But I have just decided that the game is either going to go my way or it's not going to go my way, wish it would change though.

How do you do floaters and runners? And I'm slowly getting used to him, I like him, he usually makes 9/10 contact layups. BTW if any of y'all got XB1 pop me a PM and let's get some games

Pull the shot stick away from the basket while driving without holding turbo. It gets tricky when driving from certain angles. That's way I play with my shot stick on absolute so it's always down on the shot stick for me.

And even if it is at a weird angle the shot may turn into a euro, hop step or step back jumper. All of said shots are also absolute cash with the Big Onyx.

And to your previous statement that your O can't be the main focal point of your offense, I've had multiple games that he's been the guy to drop 30+. You just have to use him right as mentioned and never force shots. He'll get himself open with his slow a** jumpshot but it'll be cash as well. He'll D up a Lebron at PG and get tons of boards.

He's a nightmare for cheesers and a blessing for those who can play basketball.
