Here are the Onyx cards I got out of 450k. I only got one that I don't have/haven't had before. These cards(I mean getting an onyx player) still continue to drop at a much better rate than the last few ruby packs though.

235k later I only pulled two Onyx one was Tim Hardaway( Wasnt impressed) and the other was Oscar coincidently I had just bought him last night.

I mean he did shoot 45% from the 3 that year, so I think it's an appropriate rating. I don't understand why they released 76-77 Walton instead of his MVP year the next season. Seriously scratching my head at who is in charge of these ratings and releases.

Oscar is a good pull even though you already have him. I think he still goes for a good selling price on the auction block. I'm lucky when it comes to pulling onyx players. Not saying they are all good but still...I mean 9 onyx in 450k is a lot better than 0 ruby players in more than 600k VC with the last few ruby packs.


It is at the point where I don't want to spend MT to buy any onyx players because I feel that I actually have a chance to get them with VC pack spending. On the other hand it seems like I never get any ruby cards now unless I use MT to buy them from the auction house or use it to buy the packs.

Yeah dude I agree. I have no luck with Ruby packs and seem to fair ok with the Onyx. Might drop another 200k tonight. I want T-Mac or KG and I feel like I actually have a chance to pull them. After today's pull I made 150k Mt so after I complete the 95-96 bulls set basically just waiting to grab pippen to complete the set I think I'm going to aggressively go after KG and or T-Mac.

I am very aware, still doesn't make sense to me why they would choose that version over the next years. He had his best season of his career in 1978 and he probably would have repeated as finals MVP if he was healthy. I just think Onyx players should be the best versions of themselves, otherwise whats the point? JMO of course

I ended up pulling Walton and a bunch of other players that aren't worth as much. There were no other Waltons on the AH so I put him up for a pretty obscene price. If he doesn't sell I'll just use him because he looks awesome.
