Favorite Legend ?
Man Ted williams is a beast i remember before completing the red sox collection wondering was it going to be worth it. It was expensive but worth every penny my favorite Legend his batting stance alone is intimidating XD. My question to you what is you're favorite Legend ?Tags: None -
Re: Favorite Legend ?
So far, I've only used two (Mike Schmidt & Will Clark), but the Thrill is just a monster for me. I don't have the greatest BA with him, but it seems every time he makes contact, it is loud; especially against righthanders. It may also be clouded in the fact that he was my favorite player, growing up. -
Re: Favorite Legend ?
Cliff Floyd plays way better for me than his attribute ratings suggest he should.
I have Edgar Martinez, Will Clark, Fred McGriff, Rod Carew, and Harmon Killebrew, but Cliff Floyd is the best performer out of all those guys by far.
Killebrew and Edgar are both still pretty solid, though.Comment

Re: Favorite Legend ?
Will Clark is probably my favorite because he's a Giant but he's not even on my roster at the moment because McGriff's attributes against lefties were a bit better last time I checked. McGriff overall, is probably having the most success out of all of my legends at the moment.Comment

Re: Favorite Legend ?
Teddy ballgame is also my fav, but Biggio vs lefties is a complete monster. Haven't been super impressed with Mcgriff but he's easy to get and has good bars.
Only played one game with Seaver online so far only 6 innings 8 hits, no walks, 12 Ks, 1 earned run. Jury is still out, but he's clearly very good.Comment

Re: Favorite Legend ?
Williams is definitely a beast, but my favorite is Dave Winfield. His hitting isn't the best for me, but gunning out overzealous baserunners with him just never gets old!Comment

Ted Williams is my favorite but when chosen to pitch Seaver is a beast!Teddy ballgame is also my fav, but Biggio vs lefties is a complete monster. Haven't been super impressed with Mcgriff but he's easy to get and has good bars.

Now if BIGGIO was available he would be my favorite.Comment

Re: Favorite Legend ?
I hear that. He hasn't been terrible for me, average hovers around .275 with an occasional homer. He does seem to be pretty clutch when I really need a hit though.Comment

Re: Favorite Legend ?
Mike Schmidt is my best performer. Batting .335 9 hr and 35 hr. Next would be TEs Williams batting .285 6 hr and 30 rbi. I also have Ozzie smith but his bat is bad. Only reason I keep using him is for his D at SS. Right now he is batting .225 0 hr and 9 rbi and I've had all 3 around the same amount of time. My only other option is Simmons at SS. Though he did get that ratings bump I haven't really used him at all bc I have Ozzy and Ozzy is a switch hitter which wins out for me in comparison but I just hope he starts coming around here soon. I also have phile neikro, he was dominant the first 6 games I used him going 4-1 but ended up pitching him twice last night and both times he got hit around a bit giving up a grand slam in the 6th to mike trout to lose 6-4.
Side note, is it worth it for me to get Rod Carew? I'm already so deep with lefty 1B for one thing. I start adrian Gonzalez who is batting .285 7 hr and 30 rbi but I also have on my bench david Ortiz and rizzo. If Carew were a righty or a switch hitter I'd have no issue but idk if id use him all to much. I'm roughly 5k away from finishing that collection.Comment
