Well guys, as you know it EA has dropped NHL 16 from last gen.
For those of you like myself that don't have a next gen system and don't see the merit in buying the NHL Legacy Edition(which will be a copy and paste of 15 with updated rosters and the schedule,)

I will be doing roster updates absolutely for free for you guys using NHLview! That's right! These updates include all through the 2015-16 season. I am now currently working on the rosters as you are reading this. I will also take attribute adjustment suggestions as well. Feel free to drop some comments below! I might work on NHL 14 rosters too because I know there were people who didn't buy 15 on last gen.

Feel free to add me on PSN if you feel like playing online sometime. I play NHL 15 on PS3...

Changelog:
7/5/15 - July 5th 2015 PS3 Roster Update Live!(Roster is not 100 percent done yet but a lot of major trades have been made in this update. Kessel to Pens, Oshie to Caps, etc.
6/27/15 - 2015-16 TRANSACTION UPDATE: Updating key trades currently going on right now. For example, Lucic now being on the Kings. After all these updates are done
5/21/15 - Unfinished Roster Database file for PS3 available in Google Drive share
5/21/15- Roster Status: Anaheim Ducks - Boston Bruins Roster Up to Date still working on the rest of the teams
5/21/15 - Added Decrypted Database files to Google Drive share for anyone to use to edit the rosters I provide to their liking and make roster releases quicker!
5/21/15 - NHLview allowing NHL 15 roster file edits uploaded
5/21/15 - Google Drive share created for anyone to view changes
5/20/15 - Project started

For rosters, I always refer to the following websites:

The Hockey News (good for depth chart info and scouting reports)

NHL official team sites (probably best resource for jersey numbers, including both NHL players and prospects)

General Fanager (now that Capgeek is gone, this or Spotrac are probably the best resources for contract information)

Elite Prospects (good for general use, also preferred for keeping up with offseason rosters)

Since I haven't seen a roster out there for 15 for US users I didn't think it could be done. Looking forward to an update of NHL 15 for the PS3.

Lack of interest more than likely though but with the legacy edition coming to light I think it's better to have free rosters over paying for a copy and paste

I don't see a lack of interest really. Lots of people are moving outside since the weather is better and the Summer is always slower around here. I am assuming an all-time best roster is out of the question since EA did away with a pure edit player feature in 15?

Here's NHLview working for NHL 15 for you guys. I did the editing for you to get it to work just extract the folder to your desktop and run it like normally.

So people don't get lost in the replies I will be posting updates in the changelog letting you know when new things get added and or removed, and in the first post is where I will put the latest updated roster files at via URL. It will be uploaded to either Google Drive or Mega for speed.

So we can just drop the BCU unzipped roster in our SAVEDATA file like 14 works for the PS3?

Yes using a Save Resigner I will make sure the save is unlocked for anyone to use meaning you won't need to resign the file you just unzip the the file I provide in the PS3 folder on the Google Drive link at the top of this forum post on a USB drive that's setup to be a PS3 storage device. 360 Users will have to use Horizon to insert the roster file but both will be equivalent to each other what the content has. I will provide a 360 roster once I can get a file from someone that knows how to setup a usb storage for 360. My main focus is PS3 rosters but I'm not gonna leave the Xbox users out as well.

Thanks. I have 15 for the PS3 and never got the hang on the Resigner. I have no problems with Horizon for the 360. Weird I know.
