    What happened to living worlds?

They touted living worlds as a big thing in the beginning and it has been very disappointing. Have they actually done anything this time?

Looks like they might have added signs this year.

A developer on Twitter mentioned they bit off more than they can chew on Living Worlds.

It's football. Leave the love at home. Lol

They also mentioned they were gonna try and fix sideline and fans wearing summer gear in 3 feet of snow.
Because I live in van down by the river...

Sounds like they dropped the ball on this one. It would be nice to see a woman in the crowd or crowds leaving during a blowout/halftime but those are minor gripes compared to the gameplay.

I actually just noticed that there are no women in the crowd. Weird!

How does a game that was made ten years ago stump this game in presentation? It's unfathomable.

They prolly had it all planned out like usual where they put out mad screens and have everybody goin nuts. But since they put out those few and everybody can see the game looks exactly like 15 with the same crappy color and lighting, that prolly ruined their plans for a minute.

I wasnt expectin much from that though. But whats messed up is how its worse in 15 than in 25. At least in 25 dudes on the sideline would catch you and stop you if you ran into them. Now, they just like back up out the way all funny looking. Dang shame man.

I have to wonder if this is more of a system issue than an EA issue. I wouldn't be surprised if they are struggling to implement a lot of things in regards to sidelines and crowds without sacrificing game performance/responsiveness.

I would rather have as close to real life animations and game play than to have a bunch of animated fans and sidelines...I do not watch the fans or sidelines when I watch a football game..

I understand it creates an atmosphere and adds to the experience; and I would like that part, but it just isn't a priority over what I previously mentioned.

                        I have a feeling it's strictly a Tiburon issue.

Probably because this feature requires alot more from a football game than soccer, UFC or basketball.

I think what most people would like to see is intelligent sidelines with players (at a slightly lower resolution) reacting to what happens on the field. We want those players to have accurate numbers that correspond with players who are on the bench (no 00 or 09 numbers).

The problem is that there are 46 players on each team not including coaches. So animating all of them intelligently plus the crowd plus the 22 players on the field who are using animations on the field.

I'm not excusing EA because other football games have done it better and there are smaller things that could do to bring us closer to what we are looking for.

I corrected the thread title because I'm OCD and it was bothering me.

                            Carry on.

I agree that football definitely has a harder "atmosphere" to emulate, but this series/dev has always struggled with the little things/details. It was nice to hear that they were trying to focus on it this generation, but it hasn't paid off yet. Like you stated, there have been other football games that pulled it off, so that is the standard for me.
