Maybe its just me but im not seeing the lighting difference in those pics, the pics might be to up close to tell.

They do this every year, same thing ever year they updated lighting but all they do is alternate one year the game is a little darker then the next year they brighten it up, rinse then repeat.

Except, this looks exactly like last year's game, so they didn't even do that this time.

They pretty much can say anything and get away with it. "Improved Blocking AI" = Blocking AI still broken with the same issues it's had since Madden 06. "Improved RTP" = RTP still as broken as it was since Madden 13. "Improved Lighting" = Lighting and graphics overall look the same as last year.

They just appear to see their consumer base as stupid, and the way they speak to us publicly confirms that for me. Some of the stuff said in interviews, misc vids, and on Twitter is just... wow.

Im guessing progressive lightning has been tightened up...better transitions from 1-4/4-7....personally I'd like to see Madden also have seasonal lightning transition (ala MLB The Show) where a game at Gillette at 1pm in September is vastly diff than a 1pm game in December/Janaury.

We've seen 10 screenshots (some of which I thought looked good).

We've seen approximately 7 seconds of actual gameplay.

How bout we wait until we see more before we accuse EA of lying?

Not much new, it was more interesting reading the comments. I know madden always brings out strong opinions about its quality, but there were literally no positive responses there. I don't know if I've ever seen the torches and pitchforks out in force to this level this early. As someone who doesn't like the game, I kind of understand. Then again, I thought overall madden 15 was liked by its fans way more than previous versions so I'm a little surprised by this too.

It looks exactly like 15. I would dare to say the Kaepernick pick from last year looked better then any of the screens released so far. Colors look so washed out.

The only difference I've noticed and its slight is Calvin Johnson's helmet actually looks sliver indoors instead of grayish.. Maybe they've finally fixed in dome lighting..

On a positive note: It appears there is less stretching/distortion of sleeves in relation to the moving of the animated players; the sleeve stripes, in this case, seem to be more consistent through the movement of the player; this I am picking up by looking at the screen shots and video side by side..

Also, a very clear fact, the Colts have numbers on the back of their helmets now - thus indicating some attention to uniforms for M16..

My defensive backs don't gain XP as quickly as other positions.
"Here, look at the improved lighting!!!"

All the HB's are really slow or just have weird ratings.
"Look at the SHADOWS!!!!"

Scouting players is a huge hassle, why do we have to pay to see SPEED?
"Look at the way the players jump now!"

There's no "life" in CFM. It gets really monotonous with no in game references to weekly events and no weekly recap other than still images with the same generic captions.
"Stadiums reflect different lighting depending on the time of day!!!!"

My point was, they release this new lighting, graphics, animations garbage every year...and do nothing to fix the legacy issues that ruin enjoyment of the game.
