    Free Stubs

I have over 60 golds, all of which I bought as silvers and bronzes. I am feeling generous today, so I will share with the OS crowd.

A near guaranteed future diamond is Corey Kluber. The only thing that can stop him is injury. Buy now.

    Enjoy the stubs. You're welcome.

He's saying buy Corey Kluber now and sit on him and then when his rating goes up to diamond sell him for a tidy profit. Just like people have done with Bryce Harper.

It's a crime that he isn't a diamond right now. He's a top 5, maybe top 3 pitcher in baseball.

Id say top 10 for sure. But top 3 or 5? Maybe over his last few starts. I know hes the reigning AL CY winner...buttttt idk he should be diamond just yet. If he keeps dominating like he has lately then yes i could see it.

Sabermetrically speaking, he is posting video game numbers right now, and the stuff backs it up.

92-95 that breaks the length of half the plate. Breaking ball that breaks 2 feet with control. Above average change. His stuff is SILLY.

            Future diamond. Guaranteed.

I mean Harper basically dominated for a week and a half and got to diamond pretty quickly. Kluber has what now 3 dominate starts in a row going 8+ innings and a boatload of strikeouts.

Only if you need stubs. Cole himself is a potential future diamond, but the odds with Kluber are much much higher. You're probably looking at a max wait time of 2-3 weeks for Kluber. Cole doesn't have the same track record, so it will take him a bit longer if he's ever going to make it.

You could always wait until Friday or Saturday to make the trade, and then if it doesn't happen next week, undo the trade until the following weekend. In other words, if you like Cole (I love Cole), just use him Monday to Thursday and then Thursday night or Friday morning, flip him for Kluber until Kluber is converted to Diamond. After he changes to diamond, if you still prefer Cole, sell Kluber and get Cole back.

Keep in mind though, it may take a few days for Kluber's price to catch up to his new diamond status. I think his new price will settle in somewhere between 15-18K.

Note: It's cheapest to buy Friday night or Saturday day time, which is usually after the special offer packs flood the market with golds. If you're going to make these moves, make sure you sell Cole by Friday morning the latest, and buy Cole back or get Kluber Friday night or Saturday morning. This will maximize your profits.

Kluber's last 3 start have been good, but he gave up a total of 20 ER through his 4 starts previous to that and received a loss for every start. He's already a 90 OVR, he will maybe go diamond if he has an amazing June, but 2-5 with a 3.49 ERA are not diamond numbers.

I don't think Kluber and Harper are comparable. Harper is doing things that haven't been done before. 13 HR's in 22 games, the only other person to do that was A-Rod in 2003.

Zack Greinke is your next Diamond pitcher.

May be as soon as this next Monday.

Kluber likely won't get increased. His overal stats aren't that great. I could maybe see his K/9 going up a bit if they want to reference his high K totals the last few weeks I guess.

                            Few weeks? Try 1.5 years.

                            10.27 K/9 in 2014. 10.72 K/9 in 2015. If he was on the Yankees, he'd be a 94 right now.

They use more than just the last year to rate players which is why his K/9 rating isn't already higher. If he didn't have such a ridiculous strikeout run his last few starts no one would be saying he should be upgraded as that is the only rating I can see being increased.
