The Finals 2015: Golden St. Warriors vs Cleveland Cavaliers

Sucks that we gotta wait a week because the over-analyzation and the insane homerism of these two are going to be off the charts, which could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on which side you're on.

Game 1 – Thu June 4 Cleveland at Golden State 9:00PM

Game 2 – Sun June 7 Cleveland at Golden State 8:00PM

Game 3 – Tue June 9 Golden State at Cleveland 9:00PM

Game 4 – Thu June 11 Golden State at Cleveland 9:00PM

Game 5 * Sun June 14 Cleveland at Golden State 8:00PM

Game 6 * Tue June 16 Golden State at Cleveland 9:00PM

Game 7 * Fri June 19 Cleveland at Golden State 9:00PM
All I'll ask is do their regular season match ups matter and if so, which one does and which one doesn't? Lol

Like I said before.. LeBron didn't play in the first game in Golden State. But when he did play in the second hand he went off for 45 11 5. And that was post trade.

Can't wait. Gonna be so much fun. The Warriors and LeBron are my two fave things in the NBA. Games will be great, and I'll honestly be happy no matter who wins. (I know that's weak, but I don't care).

Absolutely not. Both teams are very different.

I have no idea what's going to happen this series. If someone tells you they know, they are probably lying. Curry and LeBron are series winners by themselves, and both teams have guys capable of getting hot and winning a game.

Cavs have to control the pace and make it a grind fest, similar to what Memphis did, but do it better. GS has to make Cleveland scramble and try to stop Tristan on the boards.

The only prediction I'll make is that there will be no sweep.

But Love played too. So let's just throw out the regular season series.

Regardless of the outcome I am very happy for either of these franchises to be crowned the next champion.

Just asking OSU because that was a nice discussion point during the last 2 rounds involving the Cavs(not from you BTW)so I just had to ask this time to make sure.

Agreed with everything you said BTW.

I don't think the regular season matchups mean much, but you can take away some things from the game in Cleveland. Lebron didn't play in Game 1 and the game went down to the wire, but every situation and game is different. In Game 2, Cavs won convincingly but they had Kevin Love in that game and the Warriors, especially Curry, shot pretty poorly in that game and looked out of focus.

What you can take away is that if the Warriors aren't focused, like we've seen many times in the playoffs, they can dig themselves into a hole. But they will be focused, and this series, whoever wins, will be a very tough one.

                      For the Cavs to win,

                      1. The supporting cast around Lebron and Kyrie need to keep up their high level of play. Namely guys like Delly, Thompson, Smith and Shumpert. Mozgov is huge in this series too.

                      2. Kyrie needs to be healthy. He likely won't be 100%, but as long as he's able to penetrate, draw fouls, draw the defense to him to create opportunities for his teammates and hit open 3's, that's enough.

                      3. Lebron needs to be focused and in attack mode. He shouldn't be too jumper happy in this series. Stay in attack mode, play in the post, and make sure you take care of the ball.

Warriors in 6 games as much as I'd love to see Cleveland take it. In the end, depth and the rightful MVP will eventually come out on top.

This is only 2nd time since 1976 where NBA Finals features 2 teams who hasn't won title in past 35+ years,if ever before! A refreshing finals!

Sucks for people on east coast seeing so many 9pm start times knowing game won't be done till past midnight! It's the finals, the one time it's really worth staying up for.

lol, came across this pic, obviously made years ago but still:

Same exact boat. I usually don't do the whole "predict the Finals matchup" thing but I did this year, and I was pulling for Golden State-Cleveland all season. I'm hoping it'll be a lot of fun and either team winning would be really awesome to see.

LeBron's gonna play this like it's the last series he'll ever play, so 3 defenders may not be enough on him.
