I asked Ricky to leave Vanderbilt so he has taken over Mississippi State

this keeps ys at 6-6 for the conference, he only played 1 game with Vanderbilt that was a meaningless game, nobody has chosen Miss State anyway, and overall a user playing with Vandy doesnt really add to the dynasty at all so

there were more reasons for him to switch than to stay

Auburn Defense Steps Up

The Tigers opened the season on the road against the #19 Louisville Cardinals. The game was tight in the first half with Auburn settling for fgs and the Louisville rushing attack getting some big runs to give them a 19-17 lead at halftime. The second half saw the defense's maturity step up at times that it didnt step up last year and held the Cardinals scoreless in the second half. The Tigers were able to put up another 17 points to get a 38-19 win on the road. Roc Thomas went down early in the 3rd quarter and will not play in next weeks rematch against #11 USC.
