    Playing All 162 Games

Last Year, I played all 162 Games with the Houston Astros. It had it's ups and downs and there were even hiatus's that I took because I thought that I wouldn't get back into it, but each time I did and thank God I did. Playing 162 games is a lot of work, time, and effort and I understand those of you that don't due to not having that much time. I finished the 2014 season with Houston with 107-55 Record (Even notching a NO-NO with Jarred Cosart) and Winning the AL Pennant, falling just short of the Los Angeles Dodgers in the World Series (Losing in 5 Games). If you do have the time to play all the games in the Season throughout however long it takes you (for me it took 5 and a half months), I promise it is worth it. Even more worth it to see your stats and players grow.

How many of you have actually completed all 162 games in a season? Last year was my first year doing so. Just wanted to get a sense of who in OS has?

I am currently starting my Royals Franchise (with the OSFM Revision Roster) in which I will play all 162 Games and then some, and continue next season with Y2Y. Unfortunately I was not able to continue my Astros Franchise due to a Scheduling Bug in the Game which made it near impossible to realistically play.

If you can make it through the Rough months of May through Early July (Which is where most quit), The All-Star Game and everything after it has so much more meaning. After you reach the All-Star Game, it is almost a coast to the finish line. All the stats you and other teams create becomes so cool, as you've created your own baseball world.

Still playing one game per night 162 game season (in 2016 now) . Unfortunantly still playing it on MLB13, because so many complain about '14 and '15 I just can't justify spending my money on the new lot. '13 does for me....its not perfect....but what is. Maybe after reading and believing all the 'hype' on '16, I will jump in and buy, but after months of excitement leading up to the release of '15....... followed by the last few months, reading of the bugs and gliches.....might as well just stay with '13

I have only done it once. MVP Baseball 05 on my PC with a fantasy draft team. Won the World Series that year. Now, I use variations of "play and sim" to get through multiple seasons every year.

I never sim a whole game and never quick count. Sometimes I'll sim to the end of a blowout, but that's very rare. Usually takes me a whole year to play a season. I'm loving year to year saves now because my prospects actually represent something more than just assets.

MVP 2005 is the only game where I played all 162 games with no simming. In fact, I did it multiple times with that game.

On MLB 12, I played every pitch of all 162 games (and three division series games, four NLCS games and seven World Series games).

I want to complete two full seasons on MLB 15.

I like mixing it up and starting over too much to play a full season but I am trying something new this year. I'm playing 1 full game a series and supersimming the rest. This lets me decide the lineups and when to pinch hit for a pitcher and all that nonsense. Let's me get through the season a lot faster and keeps me entertained.

I completed my 2014 Franchise season, and I'm in May of the 2015 season. Felt good to finally complete a season without simming.

Last year I finished 3 1/2 seasons with my Nationals franchise. Did not use Y2Y because I did not like being forced into the manager contracts.

This year I hope to break that record. I am almost into the post season with the Nationals and I have a 10 game lead in September.

Forgot to mention I do not use Quick Counts either.

Since the day I started playing video game baseball with the full 162 game seasons available, this has been my goal. I'm a lifelong Red Sox fan and have always longed to play out a full season as if I were controlling that year's Red Sox team and playing out all the games to see how I would have done with that team and those players.

Unfortunately, I have not yet completed the task once. I would say 90% of time I am unable to finish because some gameplay flaw or game limitation caused me to lose interest in committing so much of my time. Over the last couple of years, the core of the game has gotten to a point where I can be mostly satisfied with the gameplay and how games play out, and I've accepted that even if I sim 1 or 2 games a series, it will still be enjoyable. However, now I realize I can't tolerate some of the flaws and the CPU AI, and have moved over to Online play now that is so much more improved. Unfortunately, finding a league looking to try and do a 162 game season is very difficult.
