Where do you think the NCAA series would be in 2015?

Does anyone else sit back and think about what college ball would be like on next gen consoles? Honestly it makes me kind of sad.

First thing that comes to my mind would be the inclusion of the CFB Playoff. And that would be awesome, especially if it included an option to set a parameter for number of playoff teams, like between 4 and 16, or whatever. Personally, I'd like go with 8 given the choice.

It's hard for me to think about it without it turning into a "wishlist" type of thing, so I'll just throw out some ideas I think the series could have included on a more powerful console.

• stadium expansion system
• chain gang and better sideline player models
• enhanced field and player uniform degredation
• in-game save feature
• not that I want it, but I could envision some Kinect/Move interface

Some of the things on my wish list would be:

Living Environment
Ability to use Teambuilder to make alternate uniforms for an existing team
As the poster above said an editable playoff system
Create a play (for offline only, might get ridiculous online)
Ability to expand a team's stadium or do renovations.

Considering that EA seems to go a few years before making a really good game I wasn't expecting much with NCAA 15 being that big of a jump over 14.

After NCAA 06 IMO the next solid game didn't happen til NCAA 11 and then with 12 and 13 they basically took a step back in terms of gameplay.

As someone else pointed out the playoffs would have been huge for the series but other than the playoffs i wouldn't have been shocked if the game made marginal upgrades elsewhere.

Bring create a play back with limitations. With a good engine unless you know what you're doing created plays would(and should) fail

-The game would be incredible visually. Stadiums, uniforms etc. '14 looks great for it's time.
-Stadiums and uniform upgrades.
- CFB playoff added. Huge plus.
- Subtle improvements to the gameplay I'm sure would have been upgraded. CPU AI, ball physics (especially when it hits the ground. One thing that irks me a bit in '14 are how the ball hits the turf on punts.
-Scouting is great in '14 but I'm sure it may have been adjusted and/or toned down to not make it relatively easy for the user.
-Generated players I would've hoped had been fixed. Another thing I'm not a huge fan of is the lack of imbalance of schools rosters and it's players. There are far too few teams/players playing that are rated in the 70's, 60's or even 50's.
There are the big dogs in the mid to high 90's and then pretty much every other school is rated in the 80's with a pretty balanced roster. Very rare are there extreme mismatches.

An NCAA 16 would have had some nice new features/enhancements. But it would also likely remove/break other features that worked great for years.

I am also guessing there would be an increased focus on Ultimate Team which I know some people like, but I am not one of those people.

I would imagine without any competition we would have a similar product. I never upgraded systems myself and haven't played Madden on the newer consoles to have an informed opinion either way. without college football games being made I have no reason to own a console. I still play NCAA on ps2 frequently and IMO those games especially 2006 were the pinnacle of college football gaming in terms of gameplay, excitement, and rarely did it get stale. When flashy graphics and uniforms became the focal point of the series it was set to fail. EA stopped caring when they monopolized the market. They had no financial obligation to please hardcore fans or SIM gamers like people here. I hate having a negative outlook, but it is what it is. When Ian Cummings left the NCAA team the franchise went the wrong direction IMO. I'll always have those old ps2 games to play. I have my doubts that a new NCAA game will ever be made. I hope it will for our sake as fans.

I still play NCAA on ps2 frequently and IMO those games especially 2006 were the pinnacle of college football gaming in terms of gameplay, excitement, and rarely did it get stale.

For me, '04 was the peak. After that, each version seemed to a constant cycle of EA giveth and EA taketh away. Hard to imagine '15 or '16 being any different.

Additionally, I would imagine that the CPU still wouldn't know when to call timeouts. Punts landing inside the 10 would still bounce 30 yards forward every time....and all the other gems we suffered with for 15 years would still be there.

The only things I can say would without a doubt be nice about a next gen:

1) Graphics. Stadiums, better crowds, just like FIFA or Madden.
2) Not having to mod for the playoff.
3) That's it...

EA knows that we're gonna buy their games every year regardless of how good or bad they are...

You know, I enjoy Ultimate Team. It isn't my favorite mode, but its fun. The only big gripe with it is that you HAVE to play with an existing teams uniform. I think it would be SICK if we could make our own uniforms through teambuilder to use.
