    Can't Sell Gold Card

    I got an 81 overall Braves player (Don't remember the name right now). I don't play DD, but I want to sell it for stubs. However, whenever I try to sell it, the game says "You cannot sell this card"

      Hmmmm the only reason you generally can't sell a card is when you've already put it in a Collection to unlock a Legend player. Either that or it's a card you started with, but you're saying that's not the case.

      Does the card have some sort of symbol in one of the corners that looks like a S with a circle and red slash through it? If so, then it's a card you can't trade.

          Got the player wrong, it's Jason Kipnis and he's 87 overall. But I don't see the symbol you are referencing. Whenever I try to sell it, the game says "You may not sell this item."

              Is he in your lineup/on your roster? That might make it so you can't sell him until you remove him from your active roster. Not sure though.

                  This is true, if he's in your lineup it would also stop you.

                      Would the game put him in automatically? I haven't done anything like that in DD yet

                          If you haven't done anything then he was a starter card for you. You can't sell your starter cards, which I believe everyone gets one 80+ plus a bunch of randoms. I started with Dee Gordon and tried selling him when I started as well but couldn't because he was a starter for me. I am sure glad I couldn't though because he became a beast!

                              Also you cant sell cards you receive in loyalty packs for some stupid reason.
