You can't anymore. Only option is to buy MT through a 3rd party.

You do not need more than 100-150k team to be really competitive even in seed one.Make sure you do the Sapphire Wilkins challenge.

Domination, NBA My2k app, all big payout challenges, and if you have an Xbox 1 you can create multiple accounts and sell the balance to your main account with crappy cards.

Just grind out domination.... that will help you build your team. By the time you play through the whole domination, you should have about 5-7 golds which is a good amount. Then play challenges to build up some MT. Use that MT to go out and buy some hidden gems

Domination is definitely the way to go. LeBron and Durant gold cards go for about 18k-35k, other than that, 10k tops really for all the top gold cards.
