Too bad they don't have a way to create draft class line the nba2k series. Football loses luster when drafting fake players. That would be a nice addition, but maddens been a joke for awhile now so it's still going to be a non purchase for me again.

Any thoughts on using the Broncos? ?? You get 1 year to make something with manning then rebuilding begins.

I'm a Bucs and Fins fan. It's going to be a good year it looks like. I do franchise mode with both.

It's the glossy over-emphasis on sweat that makes it worse IMO.

Why not? Same old Madden. Same old jokes. Kind of fitting actually.

It's really puzzling to me, they still have the old Nike equipment and the only new stuff they added was the old school equipment to put on created players. I know it's just equipment but it goes a long way to realism/immersion. This is the second year that the player on the cover won't have the correct equipment in the game. MLB the show added all the authentic equipment this year and it really takes the game to the next level visually.

The guys in charge or equipment and lighting are not the guys in charge or making gameplay improvements there's no reason both things can't be taken care of in a dev cycle.

Almost as cool as those painted on half sleeves they hook some players up with on here

Re: Madden NFL 16: Five Teams to Consider for your Franchise

I was going to start a thread about best teams to use this year, but saw that this one is basically already opening up that discussion.

Since we have now seen the game in action a bit at E3 and know a little about what to expect, I have been thinking about what team I should draft (assuming they are available) for online CFM this year.

It's a tough call for me.

My hometown team is the Broncos:

I can get a good year from Manning and hopefully draft someone or groom Osweiler to take over in year 2. DT should be a beast this year with that speed and athleticism, Emmanual Sanders should be a great second option and a good RAC guy, and Cody Latimer, with some development, should be a sleeper hit in this years game (and real life too) with his size and skill set. A corp of decent-pretty good young running backs. On defense you got Ware, first round pick Shane Ray, and Von Miller going after the QB in Phillip's 3-4 defense. Talib, Chris Harris (super underrated player), Roby, and TJ Ward in the secondary.

However I am kind of enamored with some other teams:

                      Titans:

Love Mariota, has a couple WRs who can make plays. Has some pretty good players on defense to build around.

                      Rams

Love the d-line, was hoping to run a 3-4 this year but with that line wouldn't mind just sending them out there and letting them loose.

Love Nick Foles and Gurley, some WRs with playmaking ability, Cook is a beast TE in the game.

                      Buccs:

Rookie QB with huge arm, WRs who can go up and make those physical catches. One of the better defensive players in the game on their d-line

The Colts are a team I know I would never get but they should be a very tough team this year as well

                      Jets look solid too

To be fair the Arizona Coyotes were contractually tied to Glendale for 15 years and that suddenly ended. I know it's a different sport with less of a fan base but in the world of sports anything is possible.

Does anybody else have OCD about not wanting to play as their favorite team? For some reason I can't do it. I don't even know why.

I can never play as my favorite team (the Patriots), I think for the most part it's because they are already a SB caliber team and I like to rebuild. But I always find myself signing former Pats players in free agency lol. I used to play as the worst teams (Oakland, Jax, Cleveland etc) but last year I started to take those middle tier teams who are close but will never win a SB (like Cincy, SD, Atlanta etc) and completely rebuild them.
