New Madden 16 CFM Feature for Comissioners Online & Offline: Confidence Reset

I was just given the green light today by John & Kolbe to share this new feature. This applies to online & offline CFM. This is one of the new features being added late, as I'm given the green light to share the others I will. This information is a direct copy of what John White shared with us yesterday.

The commissioner can boost all players on a given team to 50 at any point in time. It's not limited to the preseason. Players with conf above 50 keep their current value. It's like the other commish commands such as clearing cap penalties.

Wow, great news JP!

This might not seem like a big deal to most but confidence became an issue in many OCFMs last year and even a number of offline gamers weren't happy with the confidence mechanics. I am pleased that EA listened to their customers and gave us an option to negate the feature if we choose to. Well done

Huge addition, as a league owner this helps a lot. Had a lot of good guys get screwed over by confidence tanking their players. Excellent news.

I wonder if this still going to happen automatically at season's end like what was mentioned before, or whether that's been removed and it's just entirely up to us on when to reset it now?

Wishlist: Being able to lower the confidence values above 50 back to 50 would also be nice. Effectively giving us the ability to negate confidence altogether if we so choose.

This is definitely an improvement by itself though - aside from being able to reset end of season confidence, if used after every week it shrinks the "play" in the confidence rating down to 50, only utilizing the upper half of the range. It's another option for those wishing to minimize the effect of confidence on ratings and, ultimately, gameplay.

Just to confirm jp - this can be done to all teams, including CPU-controlled ones?

Clear cap stuff didn't work in the past
