    2K getting a little stale? Try Player Lock camera

    I had to post after having one of the most fun 2K15 experiences to date. I was getting a little bored of 2K15 so I decided to try out some new camera angles. When I tried default player lock I instantly found my new favourite camera. This is why;

    - It looks beautiful. The graphics are zoomed in and you can see so much more detail than before. You would think it would be harder to play but its not at all. The camera is dynamic and constantly is moving. You see things you've never noticed before.

    - Post game is fun. You can actually see what your post player is doing, making it easier to control and more fun to play in the post.

    - Better spacial awareness. You can really tell you close and far you are from other players.

    - Defense from a new perspective. It's a nice change to play defense from the defenders perspective. Blocks, steals and everything just feel better. Tip for playing defense is to stick with one player. I stick with the player that I last used on offense. This allows you to get a new perspective every time down the court.

    - Most importantly, YOU FEEL LIKE A PLAYER!!! It feels like you are in the game and not just controlling it. Hitting a 3 in front of the other teams bench actually feels special. Getting a block feels great. You are not just playing a game, you're in it! Also, as a bonus, I'm having some of the most realistic score and stat lines using this. This is partially from sticking to one player on defense, but I'm loving it.

    I highly recommend you try it out!

    Giving this a try right now. I'll let you know my opinion. *fingers crossed*

    Edit: I like it. The perspective is looking from the inside out, rather than the outside in (if that makes any sense).

    The spacing, details, and feel of the game are all slightly better. You can find lanes to the basket better. It feels a lot more like you're playing the game instead of playing a game.

              hi! great video and camera, but i have question about settings: in Player Lock Camera i dont have auto flip. in defense when i point guard i dont see basket. zoom(1) is not enough, so i can't see all court. please tell mi your settings, because your view is different.

                    This camera is interesting!! Does kind of give you a headache and when the CPU throws the ball inside the camera takes too long to flip

                      Player Lock camera does work wonders. Just picked up 2k15 again today and played an exhibition game locked onto the C position and it was incredible! I typically lock onto the PG but the C was a lot of fun! Felt good to contribute with offensive and defensive rebounds as well as cheap buckets under the hoop.

                            I've never used it. Going to try it. Is it only on 2k15?

                              I really like playing with this camera EXCEPT when you're running the wing on a fastbreak and the ballhandler is behind you. The camera is focused back at the ballhandler, so you can't really see what the defense is doing. It's hard to know whether to cut to the rim, stay at the 3-pt line, touch pass to a teammate, etc because you can't see the defender(s) in front of you and the camera pans too slowly when you receive the ball to be able to make a quick decision. I've actually gotten a charge before because I didn't realize there was a defender back, my teammate passed me the ball, and I crashed into the defender just as the camera had panned to where I could actually see him. I don't really know that there's an answer to this either.

                              But other than that situation, it's a fun way to switch things up a bit.
