Re: Anyone else collecting legends right now with the current market?
Are you referring to buying Legends from the Market or doing collections? Have the prices changed for Legends? Most of the time, completing collections is cheaper than buying Legends outright. I've earned all my Legends from collections. -

Yeah I meant from collectionsComment

Re: Anyone else collecting legends right now with the current market?
After completing all the collections I pretty much have a team I feel I can compete with and don't really need to work the market. So I would recommend doing collections.Last edited by baseballsim; 06-30-2015, 04:23 PM.Comment

Buy low, sell high. Don't use the buy now or sell now feature. Always put in ordersComment

The Rockies are an easy one to get first then just start playing and collect the cards , sell the ones you don't want and buy the ones you like ... It gets kinda addictiveComment

I am. I previously had 5 teams done, some of the cheaper ones. (Arizona, Colorado, Baltimore, Toronto, Cleveland.)
With the help of the market's low prices and some great pulls (Matt Harvey & Cliff Lee among others) , I have knocked out another 6 teams.
Getting close to the Angels, Reds, and Marlins too. However, some of the new players added in last update are way overpriced so I am waiting on those.Comment

Re: Anyone else collecting legends right now with the current market?
There are some really really cheap collections to do initially. Also look for players with sizeable gaps between the buy now and sell now prices. You can normally make a few stubs by flipping those cards.EPL - Liverpool FC
NFL - Kansas City Chiefs
MLB - Kansas City Royals
NCAA - KU basketball
NBA - Cleveland CavaliersComment

Hunter pence is ridiculously cheap right now so I'd try the giants collection now. Also the brewers are cheap. Obviously the dbacks and Rockies are the cheapest but they'll always be cheap, right now is the time to buy cheap golds that are needed for collections.Comment

Re: Anyone else collecting legends right now with the current market?
Best way w/o spending any real money.
start here: http://www.daddyleagues.com/dd/collections
This shows you the minimum need to finish collections
next write down on a sheet of paper the total stubs needed easiest to hardest (1-30) to complete collections. It's wackout this week but the order doesn't change.
next do a 99 triple play challenge (TPC) over and over again. Do all 99 opportunities, it takes 20 or so minutes to do. Make sure your getting 30-35k xp at the end. it should kick out 10 cards and 1-2k in stubs. More collections completed mean more stubs.
Pluck off collections easist to hardest. you get boosters for every collection you complete.
Most important, DO NOT CARD CHASE!! Stick to the plan.I dont remember there names but they were allot of fun....Comment

This is the best way. Get a bunch of cards and make stubs at the same time. Do this while the silver loaded pack is still out, while the market is really low.Best way w/o spending any real money.

Re: Anyone else collecting legends right now with the current market?
I don't think anyone has mentioned this yet. I personally just buy and sell a ton of RTTS stuff by placing buy and sell orders. I usually check the market a few times a day. Look for things that have a low sell now price and add one stub to the bid; look for stuff with a high buy now price and sell your stuff for one stub less. With the huge price differentials you can make a ton of stubs-I think I made like over 10k stubs last night by just flipping a single patriotic RTTS item(they're new so people are scrambling for them making the price differential especially large).
I've been making stubs really quickly:I have like over 300,000 right now, have completed Phillies, Red Sox, Braves, Reds sets, have all the diamond, camo, and patriotic RTTS items, have a ton of valuable RTTS items stored up for sale, and have lots of good players like Kershaw, Felix Hernandez, Troy Tulowitzki, etc.
I'm not sure though, it seems like people haven't mentioned this yet; is there a faster way?Comment

this is how everyone has been doing it that are saying "play the market", buy low sell high. People do it with all cards. The difference is definitely larger for RTTS items but in my experience they take longer to sell because not everyone uses/wants them.I don't think anyone has mentioned this yet. If you can buy and sell them thats a bonus, I can usually buy and sell a smaller profit items many more times with the same amount of stubs in that length of time making my profit equal or greater to a one time order.
I was over 400,000 before I blew my brains out to start over again...i now have 80k and about 300k in cards when the market rights itselfComment

Re: Anyone else collecting legends right now with the current market?
Oh ok. I personally find it doesn't take too long to sell RTTS diamond items, but that's probably because I only check 2-3 times per day and put items for sale and buy items. If I spent more time playing the market smaller gains might be better. I will add that I've made 30k stubs today just by buying in and selling a single item, and I made around 30k yesterday on that same item by just buying in and selling it(made more than 30k each day, just saying largest profit so far).this is how everyone has been doing it that are saying "play the market", buy low sell high. People do it with all cards. The difference is definitely larger for RTTS items but in my experience they take longer to sell because not everyone uses/wants them.
