Why not? If you've read the thread you would have seen that almost every other argument used for why this is a big deal starts with, "at my job if I have a presentation due and don't do it I get in trouble" etc....
So now that it shows a different light it can't be compared to our job? Okay.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 16 Presentation Improvement Details Coming This Week
Why are people acting like this is a huge issue.
They'll release it, and you'll probably complain that they didn't add X,Y,Z features.
You'll get the same amount of info as you would've if it were release a week ago.
Did you take off work or clear your schedule so you could read or watch a 5 minute exerpt of what you will have unlimited access to in a month?
Is this going to deter you from buying the game? If so, I question your reasoning of being on these forums.
Lastly, I would understand the uproar, if today they said that the gamd will be delayed for a week, or month. Some people take vacation to play madden, some people, thats what they look forward to every year. But this is not the case. It's going to be a clip and small read about what is and isn't in the game. This is so miniscule and people are too offended. They don't owe us anything, they could go all off season, hit e3, and stay quite until release and peope would still buy it.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 16 Presentation Improvement Details Coming This Week
I haven't as I honestly don't care when they release it. But someone at EA spent their time making that image they posted on twitter saying news was coming last week. They know how big of a following Madden has, and they know people were waiting for the info day in and day out. So to give no update on the failure to deliver is strange for a company of this level.
This is the same reason why companies won't pinpoint a date when a patch will arrive.
All people need to do is write it off as business miscommunication and the holiday week crept up on them.
They did make an error in announcing information will be coming later in the week, no doubt.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 16 Presentation Improvement Details Coming This Week
I'm sure there's a reason why the information has not yet been released. We have to remember, EA doesn't have to release a blog to the public as a way of marketing the game; they could just use commercials, because the game will sell regardless. Them releasing information to us is a "nicety" and shouldn't be an expectancy. This since of entitlement, I just don't get, neither do I understand. As a company, they have no obligations to us, as far as releasing certain information. We're all hungry for information but complaining about something that is completely out of our control is nonsense. Remember, patience is a virtue.
They got fans (myself included) excited to see new information on the game. Don't tell me that you are going to deliver something during a set time period, and then not show up at all. Or make matters worse by not explaining why you never showed up. It doesn't matter if it is "free" or not. Look, my game is already on pre-order. But in the future, just release the information when it is ready. As one person said earlier, "an announcement about an anouncement"? Get at me when it's readyLast edited by iLLWiLL; 07-07-2015, 12:00 PM.Comment

LOL. This case had nothing to do with a sense of entitlement.
They got fans (myself included) excited to see new information on the game. Don't tell me that you are going to deliver something during a set time period, and then not show up at all. Or make matters worse by not explaining what went wrong. It doesn't matter if it is "free" or not. Look, my game is already on pre-order. But in the future, just release the information when it is ready. As one person said earlier, "an announcement about an anouncement"? Get at me when it's ready
It happens. Especially in this industry. And it still won't stop me from picking the game up whenever it does go live (hopefully today).Comment

Re: Madden NFL 16 Presentation Improvement Details Coming This Week
In the grand scheme of things this is not a big deal. I understand that things happen. Maybe even moreso in gaming, IDK. However, they said that the presentation blog was coming last week. Them. Presentation blogs were released for other games last week. Here we are now, still, with no Madden blog. I don't care what kind of excuses people have made for delay. Legitimate or not, It's unprofessional, plain and simple.Comment
