I really loved the intro last year, I was actually hoping it'd become a monthly or even weekly thing in the future. Sort of like Madden moments, but with the extra presentation and stuff, I really think that'd be awesome.

As others have said though, the bug where you had to replay it got really annoying. You could just pause and skip it, but you had to watch a good amount of cutscenes before getting to that point.

As for the teams, if they want it to be this year's superbowl then it HAS to include the Ravens.

That said, the focus of this year's game is the pass game, so you'll probably have control of a team like the Packers or the Patriots. Definitely looking forward to this though.

I thought this was un-needed but gave you something to do while it installed. Only purpose I thought it brought to the game.

I don't like these types of intros, especially with it being the Super Bowl. To me, it's like if Metal Gear Solid forced you to play the last boss at the very beginning before even starting the game. The SB should be treated like the climax to a season like it actually is; something that's virtually impossible for many teams to experience every season irl. EA shouldn't just spoil the SB for people like it's just the same as an exhibition/reg season game, unless it really is that way in Madden 16.

The real question here is, did they fix the bug that forced you to replay the intro (almost)every time you started the game up? That ticked me off sooo much.

Now this I do agree with. Now if it was a pivotal game to send a team to the playoffs it would be perfect. I never liked that you could just select super bowl presentation either. A playoff mode I'm all for......

Just make these huge games feel special.

Noooooo!!! My beef with this is that for whatever reason it would never save my training camp stats and would reload this scene too many times. After that I'd have to setup my settings and so it was very annoying to me. Did anyone else have that same problem? Steve is there hope that that won't happen again?

Well there was that video with Antonio Brown and Big Ben recording for madden, So the Steelers are a given. For the other team I'd think that it is one of the teams from the cover vote. Gronk's Patriots are in the AFC, so it's probably the Giants or Cardinals. It seems most likely that it would be the Cards for a SB43 rematch and the fact that they're two good teams. However ODB and the Giants are more popular

I actually enjoyed this intro very much, but it should be a bit more in a different direction IMHO. I think it's a very good step in the right direction. However, with that said, I can see why there are people who have issues with this.

1. Do not make this an intro mode, and better yet.
2. Do not make this a "MUST" to play by not having a bypass option.

Constructive criticisms would be better placed here folks than saying it's "stupid" "a let down"... because it's presentation that people want, and/or would like actual games to have. This is a great thing to have that could lead us to it.

So a constructive feedback from me would be is.

1. Turn this into an actual mode that has ACTUAL and maybe FICTIONAL scenarios of the NFL. Using NFL lore games? NFL's Greatest games? Bad Weather Games? Something similar to madden moments or flashbacks.

2. Lets throw some extra icing on the cake by maybe allowing people to earn virtual currency, cards, players, teams, achievements/trophies? Make a purpose and a strong intent for people to play a cool thing like this.

If they force people to play this with really no payoff, and have it glitch really bad like last year. Then I can see why this neat addition to madden could do more damage than blow this presentation thing up into something really special.

One last note. Don't make it soooooo scripted. Keep it a football game that makes this really interactive. You could do wonders with this.

Let's assume the restart bug has been addressed. if i have to play it the very first time i play the game so be it, but then i'd rather not see it again, and again, and again.

Oh man it better be fixed. That was so frustrating, especially if I had an online league game scheduled and when I fire up the game and get forced to go through it.

Every screen and cut scene needs to be skip-able with a button press.

Oh wonderful....I hope they fix the bug that layered another difficulty setting on top of the one in the main menu and CFM...it completely made getting decent sliders a real bear in M15.

FWIW, since this is related:

Clint Oldenburg told me repeatedly that gameplay sliders only affected gameplay, penalty sliders only affect penalties, and all sliders operate the same in every mode of the game. He specifically said there is "no difference" (his words, he invited me to quote him haha) in function of gameplay sliders in Play Now and Connected Franchise (I specifically asked about that).

Has this been fixed so that it won't randomly reappear months after owning the game?
