Re: NHL 16 GameChangers Impressions (TonyFerelli)
Thanks for the post Steve. Though I saw Tony on earlier, having just signed up, nice to see you post. I hope eventually my videos and OS' ideas (those that have not yet done so) will make their way into EA's sanctum sanctorum.Last edited by AdamJones113; 07-21-2015, 08:27 PM.Comment

Re: NHL 16 GameChangers Impressions (TonyFerelli)
Do the "gamechangers" test offline too or are they all eashl players testing the online mode ?
The GM mode and the AI has not improved in years and it does not look like they will this year too.Comment

The morale seems to be the big add to GM modes.Comment

Re: NHL 16 GameChangers Impressions (TonyFerelli)
We do get to test all the modes, we don't get as much time as I would like with the offline ones but I used to be a GM mode junky and if you are too I think you are gonna love the changes.
Yewy and flopfish do a very good job representing the GM Mode fans and they spent a ton of time over the 3 events talking with developers on it directly.Comment

So at least there's hope for BaGM mode. Could you let us know what are the changes you think we will love as BaGM junkies? We do get to test all the modes, we don't get as much time as I would like with the offline ones but I used to be a GM mode junky and if you are too I think you are gonna love the changes.

If I may ask a question?
I'm not sure if you watched AdamJones' video showing how there really isn't much player separation between players.
If you haven't, basically it's a vid showing John Scott pulling off the same moves with the same ability as Sidney Crosby despite the discrepancy in their attribute ratings.
However, in this same video they compare the last-gen version, which has a larger degree of separation between the two players.
I'm really hoping that this is fixed in NHL16.
My biggest gripe with this series is that teams and players are all identical.
It really doesn't seem to matter if you're playing the Islanders, Wild, Leafs or Flames.
Every team is the same. And I think that's because the CPU is able to do anything it wants with whatever player it's controlling.
No-look, backhand sauce over two all-star defensmen sticks while controlling Zak Ronaldo? No problem. It's tape-to-tape for an easy one-timer.
This is the kind of garbage I want to see removed from the game.
I can live with a shallow GM mode, little NZ pressure and even mundane commentary and presentation.
If they can finally, FINALLY, provide more separation between players and teams I'll be happy.Comment
