He is at a minimum amoral/sociopathic. Paying that homeless dude so that he could beat the crap out him, stealing the info from that dudes phone after he had sex with him. Is that synonymous with evil? Your mileage will vary.

I won't spoil the theories here, but many people still have reasonable arguments for why Mr. Robot isn't real despite what we think we've seen him do.
