I know what you mean. I think it's due to the player movement. Also, weird bending at the joints, like elbows and knees. Other than NHL, "something not looking right" is in every EA sports game for meComment

If they're scanning people with cameras, how can you say he looks older than he should? That just doesn't make much sense.Comment

What two very different responses....you have someone else using your account?
To answer the question though, even though they do the scans, they don't capture every expression....so certain expressions can completely change how a player looks....
Nerlens in Live 15 looks good...so I think that's what is going on here...Comment

lol. I've gotten into this discussion before, with folks not liking that I brought it up in other games. What you guys are saying (about "something not looking right") isn't unique to Live -- it can be said about EVERY sports game out here. We nitpick and pick apart Live when other games are even farther from perfection.Last edited by iLLWiLL; 08-01-2015, 01:28 PM.Comment

It's OK not to like the screenshot.
Not liking the screenshot or Lives art direction doesn't mean every other game is perfect.....goodness, lolComment

I would have to disagree, for the most part I would say things "not looking right" is very unique to live as the competition has pretty much perfected everything other than a few faces which I'm sure will be fixed this year. Live is only nit picked because of the the wired animations and how the players in game move. And the competition basketball game 2k is the closest thing we have to perfection.

Yet can't support your reason why it "looks off." To me this looks really good. Lighting, texture, color, face, background, everything looks really good. This game graphically keeps improving, I really feel now they have a foundation & in a few years it can be on 2k level. Post game needs to be addressed, not a lot of post moves.Comment

Crowd looks good, but that looks nothing like Noel.
For those saying that Live looks "off," I think it has to do with color matching. Live has historically used more muted colors, which looked great in the old days whereas 2K looked "too cartoony" (per consensus on the boards). Now we're in HD though, using truer colors like 2K begins to look more accurate, whereas the impact of using washed-out colors is diminished.
