They can take their synergy and flush it....
I mean seriously can we really get a definitive answer from EA as to what Synergy actually does for this game since it 1st became utilized?
There's several hard core gammers on here that will vouch synergy has basically had very little IMPACT on this series...
The players still play generic and the teams still all function the same.
Synergy has been a over hyped selling point for this series from day 1 and way too many excuses keep popping up as to why rosters can't be edited because it would effect Synergy yet the EA guys going all the way back to Marcus was doing player edits even with Synergy.
How is it going to break the game if we edit players as opposed to how they edit the players in the same manner?
Synergy has yet to force Chirs Paul to play like a competent PG in Live and Synergy has yet to make the Spurs differ from the Warriors in terms of playing styles.
Synergy didn't stop Shaq from launching mid range jumpers in Live and Synergy didn't increase the game tempo of the Knicks or Suns when D'Antoni was running the show.
Let me tell you about EA they will say one thing and give us the opposite like this so called Synergy engine reinventing the way we see NBA Live Play.
This is the same company who i called out for using the same ratings over a 4 year period that never changed between Live 06 and Live 10 and then they didn't even realize it themselves until I posted the data on here and NBA Live forums.
The bottom line is that many us don't need Synergy to dictate our rosters and ratings.....
We are a very hands on community here at OS and could probably update and release more Authenic playing rosters than EA themselves....
Just remove the damn thing (Synergy) or give us offline ability to edit our own teams and players that don't disturb your online community
But instead we get a mode where you can create yourself and edit your ratings and that's the next big thing for them to sale.....
Sorry for the rant but I'm beyond frustrated with this series and the direction they choose to take year after year.
