Doesn't Synergy continue to update the accurate accessories and ratings anyways....I know it's a downer, but it's been like that since they've joined this generation consoles..

Oh well, I didn't expect otherwise...as long as the animations and gameplay are improved, I'm good.

I agree that gameplay is no.1, but editing players, in my opinion, does affect gameplay. The way players play is part of how the game plays, to me. Also, I think that many times the animation that plays is related to the player's abilities and/or signature packages (and also tendencies, when it comes to AI players).

Gameplay and player editing go hand in hand.....

In order for "game play" to be good "individual player wise"basically (lebron to"act/play" like lebron on court )there has to be some sort of customizations goin within player editing correct????

Sig shots
Player tendencies
Awareness
3pt ratings
Dunk ratings
Dribble ratings
Steal ratings
On ball def ratings
Etc...

All these can have an effect on the way your player or a.i behave during the game....

So for the people that are saying its not needed or they are glad that they are just focusing on gameplay..how??? When player editing is a factor in driving gameplay....that goes for majority all sports titles not just live....player editing is more than just accessories...

Ppl that only care about gameplay or play online modes shouldn't respond....If u play dynasty mode and u want ya pg to play 30 mins a game u should be able to do that ....if u watching a game on tv and see that lebron is no longer wearing a sleeve or changed it to specific color u should be able to fire up ya console and update your player it's about having the option to control rosters in your game and not have to wait for an update or a patch it's simple but important and users should be able to control that THE OTHER GAME ALLOW U TO DO IT... ME BEING A HARDCORE LIVE FAN IS REALLY PISSED ABOUT THIS .....

Not trying throw EA under the bus most of there roster updates the accessories weren't on point Myself and few others are why we had accurate accessories update I posted plenty pictures which allowed the Devs to get the correct accessories on players go to forum look it up I'm not taking all credit but I don't feel I have to do that we should have the ability to do it on our own so yeah this is a big deal for the community for 60 bucks things like this should be standard with sports game think about it NHL 15 took alot of heat for not having player editing and other game modes I would of thought nba live would learned a thing or two from them ....Live is now only next Gen sports game without this feature SAD !!

I am pretty upset about this. The people who say "well Synergy updates players for you" miss the point. If you are playing Dynasty mode, it does not update. Traded players have the wrong numbers, equipment, the whole nine. There is only so much Tip Off games you can play before the game gets redundant.
This was a deal breaker for me last year, and a huge deal breaker this year. I will not buy the game. EA has yet to grasp how important customization is to us, or they just don't care. It shows in Madden and in Live. All my excitement for this game is gone, and once again EA has me in "wait till next year" mode, like always...

To go even further than that, sometimes you just want to make your own changes, regardless of what happens irl. What if I wanted to remove Kobe's arm sleeve? Put back LeBron's headband? Change my rookies' shoes? I can't do any of those.

I traded Melo to the Nuggets last year and he still had Knicks-colorway shoes. I couldn't change it.

I'm hoping that they could at least patch in roster and player editing inside Dynasty (and Rising Star) mode this year.

Let me, just get this straight we haven't even touched the game yet and it looks fantastic from what we've seen and most of you guys are saying y'all not getting the game because of one little thing like player editing? Smh so if 2k or madden didn't have player editing y'all telling me you still wouldn't get it ?

Your missing the point. Live's community loves customization, its always been part of the conversation, ever since they moved the game to Orlando, its been taken out of the conversation.

The fact that they hired a renowned tattoo artist just for created players, but we can't simply change an accessorie or attribute on the actual players shows their priorities.

Why has the NBA side of the game taken a back seat to the online created player stuff? I mean they have talked about the dribble hand off addition so much so far I am thinking is that the only gameplay eye candy we will get this year no mention of the low post game besides we are still working on it, that doesn't sound too promising, but we are supposed to be fine waiting another year just to possibly get the edit player feature back.

For me, it's not even worth trying. Again, those that do and enjoy I'm happy for them. It's just too big of a missing feature for me.
