Deuce -
It doesn't look like rkwittem is available to send me an invite tonight. Why don't you go ahead and play the game without me... I don't want to hold up the league anymore than I already have.ShakingTheSouthland

Perkins, Rosen Lead #11 UCLA to Blowout Win over BYU
PROVO, UT. - It looks like critics of UCLA's maligned offensive line will have to find a new bone to pick this year. #11 UCLA beat BYU in Provo, 58-7 in front of a sold-out crowd at Lavell Edwards Stadium on Saturday night.
Junior RB Paul Perkins had 246 total yards of offense, including two first-half rushing TDs as the Bruins' no-huddle offense tore gaping holes in the Cougars' defense. BYU, which had at various times under coach Bronco Mendenhall produced greats like Ezekiel Ansah and Kyle Van Noy, looked confused, off-stride, and slow as UCLA sent waves of receivers and backs at them from all angles.
"We had a great week of practice, which is huge any time you take a young team into such a tough atmosphere and with the altitude, but they handled it great," remarked UCLA head coach Jim Mora. "[Freshman QB] Josh [Rosen] looked in control all night."
It was the 2nd great performance from the highly-touted freshman signal-caller, who had a scintillating debut against Virginia last week. The numbers from his first road start: 28 of 37 passing, 236 yards, 3 TDs and no picks with 16 yards on the ground. He was given a few breaks when BYU defenders dropped 2 sure-fire interceptions, including a likely touchdown on a swing pass that hung in the air too long.
"That was definitely a mistake I need to fix. My success wasn't me at all, either," said Rosen post-game. "My offensive line, backs and receivers were all great. Perk was a beast. I have a lot to work on still and I will."
The game appeared to be over almost before it started. After winning the coin toss, BYU kicked off to UCLA. It was all downhill from there, as every single UCLA drive resulted in a score for the rest of the half. Rosen started rusty, looking tentative and unsettled and missed 5 of his first 7 throws, including drops by both UCLA receivers and BYU defenders.
A chorus of boos rained down on the Cougars after a 44-yard field goal sailed through the uprights with no time left on the clock in the first half, giving the Bruins a 41-0 halftime lead. BYU was able to come out after halftime and score on its first possession, but by then the game was over. UCLA turned the offense over to its reserve tailbacks and let them finish off the Cougars. Nate Starks had 98 yards and SoSo Jamabo added 68 of his own.
"We're still a long way away from knowing anything definitive about this team, there's a lot of football left," said Mora.
"They beat us pretty good in every which way- offense, defense, and special teams. Those freshmen they have were excellent," said MendenhallComment

Florida handles Texas A&M 28-12. Defense ran supreme this week for Florida as they were hold Texas A&M's explosive offense to only 12 points. Freshman Quarterback Will Grier was asked to mange the game during his first road start while the two-headed monster of Junior RB Kelvin Taylor and Freshman Jordan Scarlett controlled the offense all day long. After a disappointing showing last week, Florida left no doubt in this one. They will look to build off this impressive win .Comment
