Yet we have some to come in completely ignore EVERYTHING and pick out one thing they don't agree with and swash over the game like it might as well be DOA because its not EXACTLY how they want it.

I can't even believe the amount of things here that was in that long post you made, yet thats still not enough, and then throwing shade around as if My League the offline game is not the core of the game, like "yeah im glad for you offliners but this is unacceptable"

We just sat back and watched them release a HUGE ONLINE MODE CALLED PRO AM (crew) whatever you want to call it, full customizations, teams staduims uniforms and leagues, because thats what the majority of onliners were complaining about and guess what

    More onliners complaining again

This cycle of ridiculousness never stops with them.
The online community is segregated and large in numbers so there will also be opposing views. Most are made 2k promoted Online assocation as myleague online . This gave the impression that the experiences would be comparable. Sadly what they got for online play is more admin options and a mechanic that makes all leagues private. Even the ability to play multiple seasons is an option and not engraved into the game mode. With missing Free agency and draft options yet again for the 3rd year, its just a carbon copy of 2k15 leagues with (hopefully) working stat tracking and ability to kick / invite people during the season.

We used a done of "paper and pen" work arounds to have something comparable to what we had last generation. People thought it would be right this time and they are disappointed that we have to keep using spreadsheets to makes are leagues work.

Also , the biggest burn from 2k15 is that no players have salaries so we had to use spreadsheets and such to track player movement and create rookies while having an offline NBA draft. On of these two things will have to be done again this year

I wish I could be as excited as most of you guys, because this definitely is great news and a step in the right direction for years to come.

However I was really excited to revive our Online Association from 2k12 and 2k13 but the way it looks now is that the essence of that mode, which is building a team, preparing for the draft, clearing cap space for free agency etc. is not there this year.

If I got it right, it's basically the first season over and over again but with the trades you made during the season, so the first season will end in 2016 and the "second" season will restart in 2015 right? This means no expiring contracts, player progression etc, so taking a mediocre team wouldn't really make sense because the only goal is to win the championship in the first season and how many teams capable are there? And trading up from lottery to contender without any assets is not realistic in one year.

I still believe that it's a step in the right direction for this mode, because everything else is like I was hoping for. The priority should be to build a solid, and especially a working foundation so that hopefully in 2k17 we can have our online association back!

The fact that they rant a little even in days like today comes from a growing frustration that they have been farming for a long time.

Even if it's difficult to relate with them, and they are in the wrong, it would be unfair to ask so much of them, as it is to ask more from 2k today.
How is it difficult to relate? Everything doesn't require constant negative nancy talk, especially when you've been given almost everything else. It's like God told Adam you can have EVERYTHING in the garden except that one tree. I imagine these same ones would argue with him about how wrong he is for holding back on them.

Like how many years did it take My League to surface to what it is now? Don't lie either.. go back a few years and check and let me know

It's just disingenuous to group all onliners together. There has been a dedicated group of online league/online association/online myleague guys that for years have been patient asking for that mode. We simply have been wanting to be able to do a league with friends. Not play one-on-one or crew or anything like that. A team league with friends. So most of us could care less about crew mode. And since the introduction of online associations there have been game breaking bugs every single year that never get touched once the game is released. If you can't see why that's frustrating then you or just being dishonest.

Myleague offline is great minus a few small annoyances and has seen people complaining hardcore wanting more. All the online league guys wants is basic features such as free agency and being able to draft players year to year. BASIC FUNCTIONALITY. How in the world is that unreasonable to want?

Last year's online leagues were a complete travesty and for months games wouldn't even register as having been played for months.
In fact i know very well what you are talking about. I am a member of a 30 player online league, doing 2 seasons in a year. I am not defending what they have done in the past, i can see them walking in the right direction. You are right though that Madden/MLB are better in that part.

Im not grouping anyone im talking about the complainers

and like i said most of them have been complaining about crew more than anything and they got that

but whatever, ill focus on what they DID add more than what they didn't this go round.

BTW, im not against what you're saying in particular at all

Its the incessant complaining that gets old man. There are way too many entitled folks out there

We have an intelligent poster like Lakers24 who created a Phenomenal thread very intelligent post, with well thought out points, pictures to demonstrate, very organized and easy to understand, that could not be otherwise disagreed with by anyone, and apparently the devs thought it was in line as well.

I remember that thread! So many things he mentioned in that thread have been implemented.

This sounds absolutely amazing and really makes me want to set up a online league with my friends.
Two key questions that come up are:

                  1) can we customize the league to include LESS teams so all teams (let's say 10 teams) are user controlled?
If not as a full fledged myleague, then is there an option for an online association with team customization and flex scheduling?

                  2) can I simply re-brand my team (Name, Uniform, Arena) without relocating the franchise?

This really has me licking my chops. Bravo!

I also wanted to add: Simcast Live is dope. At least the way it sounds. Amazing stuff.

It reminds me a lot to Football Manager, a soccer simulator that is the most advance stuff I have never seen in any sport.

Regardless of how 23 wants to demonize you for criticizing 2k, I want ago applaud you for speaking up for the online association guys. What happen with online association reminds me a lot of what happend to crew. 5 years ago both modes delivered a great product, then for the next 4 releases they were either completly eliminated or stripped. When you see something you like in an old edition, and the company eliminates the things about that game mode that made it great, you have every right to complain. In fact you have an obligation to make sure that mode returns to the quality it once was.

If it wasn't for the crew guys constantly complaining they would have never gotten an improved version in 2k16. 23 also tried to demonize that vocal minority as well. So keep voicing your concerns, so hopefully in 2k17 you guys recive the real online association you've been asking for.

Today I'm Extremly satisfied, but that doesn't mean that you need to be. I'm mostly an offline association player, so I got what I wanted. Keep fighting the good fight

This post is so full of wrong

First of all they eliminated crew because of the hackers and cheaters and said as much, until they could make it to where that stuff wasn't happening anymore.

Secondly 2k never eliminated the idea, and if you've been here on this site long enough you'd know that but obviously you're too busy standing too high on a wobbly soap box to know

Third they are just complaining and just like people who care about whats actually implemented, people don't wade through a bunch of complaining because you think thats speaking up.

What Lakers24 did was speaking up, and that's why I brought it up in the first place. What he did is a shining example of how to be heard but i've yet to see a thread that well organized and thought out to present a case.

Still waiting on it too. If the execs asked you why should they spend extra money and resources on this in a meeting and all you did was complain, they wouldn't ever invite you back again.
