Just read through this whole thread, actually had to hold back tears of joy reading the blog post. When there's legitimately only one or two request missing from a game, you know you've got something excellent. Amazing job by everybody at 2K.Comment

Okay, so I saw the relocation map but I am fairly curious about this, but does anybody know if we can also relocate teams out of the USA? For example, canada or maybe even mexico/Europe? It's matters to me more if I can relocate to Canada, but it only seems to show us a map of the united states so that's why I am posing this question.
It would also be nice if we could have a list of cities we could move to.
A team in alaska? that sounds really compelling!Comment

I thought Vancouver and Montreal were on that map, but that was upon memory and a quick glance initially (at the map).
Edit: yep, i checked map and see those Canadian cities.Comment

Oh okay, phew! had to be completely certain of it. Thanks for letting me know.
still would be helpful though, if they gave us a running list of cities you can relocate to, just to see it in a textual sense as opposed to just a map.Comment

It Would be awesome to see 2k add a feature of retiring player numbers. Like a player has to be at least a certain overall for certain amount of years throughout their career. Also they need to have certain career stats for their particular position. The player chooses where to retire his number, or maybe he retires his number at the team he spent the longest time at. The cpu of other teams also have numbers retired for players throughout the years. It would just be an awesome feature because in like 2050 players are going to the hall of fame but there are no numbers being retired.Comment

That would be a great add next year!
This commentary isn't directed at you, but just as a general persective:
Nobody can deny what they did add to this mode though! Seriously, all these additions have been a long time coming for offline franchise players! This is incredible! And, if we can create (share) historic teams/seasons?!? Oh my god!!! Can't wait. Playing a 1993 or 2001 season online even if just one year would be amazing, no???Comment

Re: NBA 2K16 Developer Blog - MyLEAGUE, MyLEAGUE Online, MyGM & More
Here's a quick and not 100% accurate list of the cities I may have seen (not including cities that already have teams... except for Oakland and San Francisco). It's hard to see the exact location in some spots so it's guesswork in some cases:
Vancouver
Seattle
San Francisco
Oakland
San Jose
Anaheim
San Diego
Anchorage
Honolulu
Las Vegas
Austin
Kansas City
Omaha
St. Louis
Nashville
Athens? (poor knowledge of Georgia and southern South Carolina)
Jacksonville
Tampa Bay
Louisville
Cincinnati
Columbus
Pittsburgh
Buffalo
Baltimore
Richmond
Hartford?
Springfield?Comment
