Graphical upgrade for PS4 version of game?
I've seen several comments from annual Madden buyers that the Xbox One version of the game looks excellent. I'm actually surprised by these comments since so much of the game looks so much the same (outside of the obvious WR-DB interactions). That being said, does the PS4 version look "better" as well over the 2015 PS4 game as well?Tags: None -
Re: Graphical upgrade for PS4 version of game?
I would doubt it..Remember, EA and Microsoft, have business agreements, thus why you see Xbox getting benefits like 10 hours of play through the Access system...So PS4 will most likely never have anything that looks better than the Xbox, in regards to EA games.. -
Graphical upgrade for PS4 version of game?
Maybe one day someone will actually make a sticky so these threads don't get made every two days instead of the classic
"This isn't going anywhere" and lock, only to see a new one a few days later.

Re: Graphical upgrade for PS4 version of game?
I'm confused. Are saying EA specifically made extra effort to improve the XBox Ones graphics, while doing nothing at all for the PS4? I'm not sure that sounds like EA as that would mean EA has decided XBOx is "THE" platform for the game period.Comment

Re: Graphical upgrade for PS4 version of game?
Games that are on both systems are made for ps4 first and then ported over to xboxone so at worst the are going to look the same and ps4 may look better. Really though all that matters is what system controller you like more.Comment

Re: Graphical upgrade for PS4 version of game?
This thread topic will never die because people want to feel like they have the "superior" console. The game looks great on both, get the one your friends have or the controller you like better and play some football.Comment

Re: Graphical upgrade for PS4 version of game?
I don't remember when I saw it but there where articles about how last gen games that are on both systems where made for xbox 360 and then ported over to ps3 because ps3 was hard to make games for and that how this gen both systems are more similar to computers and how ps4 is easy to make games on and is the stronger systems. So because ps4 is much easier to make games for then ps3 and because ps4 and xboxone are more similar then ps3 and xbox360 where that they now make games on ps4 first and then port them over to xboxone. Also some games on ps4 are 1080p while xboxone is 720p or 900p.Comment

Re: Graphical upgrade for PS4 version of game?
I think last years' looked a little better. Seems like the colors are washed out in the XBO version this year. The lighting seemed to be better too last year. Not sure about PS4. I think it'll probably look very close to the XBO version.Comment

Re: Graphical upgrade for PS4 version of game?
Guys, we really don't need another version of this thread.
I will say that I do remember reading something to the effect of games being designed on ps4 instead of xbox one this gen , as a previous poster mentioned. But, I don't think anyone has ever definitively proven the rest of the assumptions that go with that (and since I can't cite my source, take even that with a grain of salt).
And yes here is the classic this thread is going nowhere lock. It really does just lead to system wars... we've seen it too many times.Comment
