You guys have really been knocking it out of the park the last few years. MyLeague is just so deep and robust that it's unbelievable, honestly. It's really head and shoulders above all other sports games franchise modes that I play. Give each other pats on the back from me and keep up the good work!

IMO trade reviewing should be easy to implement, at least from a layman's perspective. Just have the options of "accept, decline, not now" or something like that. Basically some option in which we can see the initial offer, put the trade in some sort of "pending" section on the transactions screen so that we can quicly head to each roster and team standings then we go back to transactions and accept or decline the deal.

543 posts in one day, I'm gonna say SimBaller has put together some sort of almost-record here for a developer blog. Well done, Erick -- long-form features aren't dead yet!

The only thing I feel is missing or just hasn't been mentioned is rookies. I wonder if they have done any work in the rookie department, both visually and attribute wise.
        and... BOOM goes the dynamite!

Is anything being done about disappearing free agents? It seems there is some small capacity of free agents to which many players disappear during the offseason because the free agent pool seemingly isn't infinite.

Will this still be he case this year?

If so can you make it so that the game deletes the players with the lowest overalls each year instead of seemingly taking random actual players and removing them.

For ex. Start up a my league and simulate a year or two and see if you can find guys like Bynum

Also I am totally going to re-brand the Pelicans as the Jazz and re-brand Utah as something else entirely.

How about reviving the Aba franchise that didn't make it into the nba post-merger?

                The Kentucky Colonels

Is Kentucky a confirmed location ? Big college sports state, but no professional team since the ABA . Always wondered what would have if they had made it into the nba in the merger.

It Would be awesome to see 2k add a feature of retiring player numbers. Like a player has to be at least a certain overall for certain amount of years throughout their career. Also they need to have certain career stats for their particular position. The player chooses where to retire his number, or maybe he retires his number at the team he spent the longest time at. The cpu of other teams also have numbers retired for players throughout the years. It would just be an awesome feature because in like 2050 players are going to the hall of fame but there are no numbers being retired.

Not that I know of, but giving the user some more info in the case of trade approval is a great idea moving forward.
How about making the trade approval a "pop up" on your phone type of thing where you can multi-task for the stats the same way you'd look up a phone number while on a call?

I posted this in regard to MyLeague progression & regression & was hoping that you could possible shed at least a little of light on how progression/regression is handled within the coding or game logic this year... I'm LOVING the progression editing ability that has been mentioned in regard to the peak ratings & progression sliders but how they will actually operate is equally important. hopefully leftos or someone else is willing to give even an inkling.

I don't know if has been answered and asked before. Will it be possible to share the created items like jerseys/arenas and rosters based on this with each other?

Yeah, they have Louisville in the game. I am hoping you can name your team "Kentucky..." and not be stuck with the Louisville title, but I'm afraid that may be the case.

I hope we are able to Customize Created Players in greater Detail than in NBA 2K15 with Regards to Custom Draft Classes and Players that are not in the Game, I hope we can give them Headbands(Don't Know why that feature was taken out when NBA 2K went Next-Gen) and possibly make them taller than 7ft 2!
