Were Pro Packs Meh Last Year as well

I played my entire trial on EA Access playing MUT to earn enough to buy 2 pro packs and they were very meh. Was it like this last year? Did I simply have a bad luck of the draw with those 2 packs?

Packs were like that last year. Don't expect high OVR golds, elites and especially legends to be flying out of packs this year lol.

So, in essence, they want you to pay/ use the auction house to get higher level players?

Well of course they want you to pay lol. It would increase your odds, because of the number of packs.

But some people just sit on the auction house and flip cards to get more coins.
Others grind every solo for the coin,pack, and player rewards.

If you don't want to spend real money, then grinding out solos will be your best friend. The rewards get better the more you progress.

Yeah honestly I've never had any pack luck. Ive seen guys on twitch rip through tons of packs only to pull a couple awesome cards. Ill stick to grinding out the solo challenges. Like Datninja said, you can do well flipping cards on the market if you are paying attention.

Packs are meh, but 2 is also not enough to pull anything.

I purchased the deluxe edition, and will never do so again. I didn't get anything even remotely good. At first I thought getting Gronk was my one great card, until I found out almost everyone (and their mother) got one. Then I made the mistake of spending $5 and buying the all-pro pack, and that stunk as well. DOH!!!

Pack pulls are much better this year, it's random so you could get lucky and you could not.

If you pick up a bag of Doritos at participating Target locations right now you can get a free Ladanian Tomlinson Elite card, he's an 85 overall and his rating doesn't drop like some other giveaways.

Stopping at target on my way home to investigate this claim.

Edit: I investigated online. Found this thread over at Muthead, if it's true Target in Milwaukee is being bought out of Doritos tonight. Hopefully there are still some bags left.

I ended up snagging the last two bags on the display stand in front of the electronics section. In two packs I pulled the automatic 85 OVR LT, 83 OVR Rolando McClain, 82 OVR Dee Milliner, 80 OVR Koa Misi, 80 OVR Ryan Clady, and a bunch of other 70's OVR players. Not bad for two bags of Doritos I purchase on occasion anyways. They're not tradeable or auctionable, but filled out my starting MLB's and HB.
