Sucks that my first 3 days of the game are going to be spent adjusting the roster.
Funchess ran a 4.49 at his pro day...probably the time that they are using for his rating.

I respect you, but i known what i'm talking about. I can bet with you no Bills fan will say Wood is our best player. We love him, but knowns his limitations. If you asks Bills fans and peiple who follows their games it will be Dareus, Mario or Mccoy now. Some Kyle Williams too and Watkins a good QB away to be there.
When i saw Wood ratings, it makes less sense. Equally good on pass block and run block? No way! He's a good pass blocker who struggles on run blocking. Sorry, but i'm sure you don't used data to rate Wood this way.
Also, how in the world Brady is rated below Cassel and equal to EJ??? It's dumb.
To have ratings this dumb, i'd rather play with EA one who will work in CFM. Like i said, i would love to support a better rating system, but it needs to makes sense. Bedwardsroy was an example on nba 2k.

The problem is that you are basing your argument on fan opinion. These ratings are based on the opinions of professional scouts. One of these groups is trained and paid to professionally observe the game, while the other is likely not. My bias and production is taken out of the equation entirely. Did you read the faq page? I am guessing not, because if you did, you would have read that #6 on that list applies to Brady - suspension hold. To me, fans are too emotionally invested in ratings, so they will be extremely biased. In addition fans will likely be less open to any evidence that goes against their fandom, an even larger issue.

My point, in the last attempt to address you in this matter, is that your biased fandom may be preventing you from a more realistic Madden experience. It is possible, however, that as soon as Madden 17, your only option for CFM may in fact be FBG rated rosters, so I urge you to do more research now.

        Good luck.

This is my thing... if you wanna talk about it.

I just dont understand why your rating system has to be so far off of the "general population's" thought pattern.

I love the idea of ratings based on "real" data, but why wont it work within Madden's system ?

When I step back and look at it.... this is what I see

Madden uses basically the 60-99 scale. All people relate, from basic life. Our whole upbringing through school's teach us that scale. A-B-C-D-F...

FBG scale is like 50-89 (with a sprinkling above and below those marks)
The ones below 50, prolly wont make a roster. The ones above are deemed Gods.

I just dont see why you would make a rating system, that does not work within the system you are rating it for.

I am a firm believer that we dont need lower ratings...

          We need accurate ratings.

FBG's are no more spread out than Madden's, they are just implemented on a lower scale.

I like all the info FBG has about scouting and grades.

But why cant those be translated into ratings the use the 60-99 scale ??

FBG is basically using a 39 point window (50-89) for a majority of it's rated players. (60-99 is a 39 point window too)

This will also lead into building a rating system that also works within what the game itself creates via CFM draft's.

I just dont understand..... I want the right Data, but I want it to be usable within the system it is for.

I mean, unless Madden totally changes the whole system within the game..... Scale.....XP progression.....salaries.......drafteess.....anima tions

I just dont see the point.....

When in my mind I think you could make FBG scouted, accurate rated players, that work with Madden's 60-99 scale.

Man, how it can be about my " biased fandom" if i'm saying that i love Wood just like every Bills fan, but even we known he's at the best a above average Center and obviously not our best player? . Also, every scout who would rate Wood, would never give him an equally rating on pass and run block. It's pretty clear to everyone who watch him play, scouts, midia, fans, that he struggles on run block.

I have no problem is those become the official ratings in madden 17. Then it will work in CFM and will be fine. Maybe they even makes the game play better. But those errors like in Eric Wood case are really bad, just like the actual ones in EA ratings.

Also Brady is suspended, so his rating go down? C'mon.
