Man watching that trailer in 1080 on YouTube at the speed of .25 is just marvelous.....and I will say that when I was looking at screenshots I thought shoes were still trash but if you watch the trailer like that you'll see shoes definitely gotta 75% upgrade...still not 100 because they have trash 2k stuff lol
Only thing I don't like are players that look bad because of "no scan" which seems like a BS to me because I thought that's what artist were for...how come games like "witcher 3" "metal gear" "assassins creed" can make beautiful faces of people that don't exist and still look super real but we can't get NBA players just because they weren't scanned
Along with likenesses, jersey colors and designs that be off just makes no sense to me either...just small nitpicking but still looks like we might have a classic on our hands ...
Oh and a question, when the trailer plays in normal speed is there still a lik bit of slow mo?? Like will 2k ever be able to mirror real life speed with their animations or at least close to it?! I've seen Escalade from "And 1" make faster moves than 2k animations lolComment

Re: NBA 2K16 Trailer - Winning
Yep, I'm glad the crowd improved, probably audio will be overhauled too?Yeah that short clip with Harden and the crowd looked damn good, really lifelike with all the fans moving and animating at different times. The new animations bring them to life as well, I just hope they react better to the action. I'm not getting my hopes too high though as they said it was improved last year, and while it was improved, it was still pretty bad.
On the other hand I see absolutely no changes to the bench.Comment

Re: NBA 2K16 Trailer - Winning
I honestly thought the body scanning (weeks ago) would only affect textures. And then I became convinced it was just upper body stuff (from the recent pics with ratings)......
This pic above shows a CLEAR difference between Wiggins and Admiral Fat Legs......
I happily stand corrected (about the body scans).....the skinny legs look fantastic!Comment

Re: NBA 2K16 Trailer - Winning
I don't even know what that means..
If you didn't catch the sarcasm, the point of my post was to point out how foolish it is for you to expect a game to let you change hairstyles for over 400 different and unique head shapes.Comment

Re: NBA 2K16 Trailer - Winning
Oh it flew through you...
I mean I did not say anything about it being easy. Just because I asked if a function can be implemented does not necessarily mean I think it is easily done.
Back when I played the Atari Basketball game, it was foolish for me to expect someday we'll have a real simulated basketball game, to have all real players' names and faces, realistic commentators, player specific dunks, layups and dribbling moves... and yet, here we are.
So why is it to you that I'm so foolish to expect a game to let me change the polygons on top of different shapes of other polygons?
But I digress.Comment

Re: NBA 2K16 Trailer - Winning
I would love to be able to change Player Hairstyles, however that seems a bit Unlikely at this point, seen as we have never been able to change Player's Hairstyles on Next Gen and Last Gen, however We should be able to at least add Headbands/Goggles and other accessories to Current Players, we could do it on Last-Gen Consoles, however for some odd Reason we could not do that on Next-Gen, we were not even able to add Headbands and Goggles to our Created Players for Legendary Rosters and Custom Draft Classes, this was so annoying and that was the Reason why I never used Legendary Rosters for NBA 2K15, I hope this mistake was fixed for NBA 2K16!Oh it flew through you...
