The Defensive Camera , Loved it in madden 15, now i cant use it

Ok , so in Madden 15, i was one who loved playing defense with the defensive camera. I know alot didnt like it, was something new to learn. I loved playing with it , and was happy to hear they didnt remove it. However , unless im just doing something wrong , i cant use it anymore.

Now when the ball is passed, and i press the button to switch defender , it keeps camera on guy i was usering , instead of moving camera quickly to new defender im switching to , so i can see anything . Cant see the ball, the wr its going to,where my defender is , to know if i should pick play ball or play wr.This is really frustrating to me as i loved this camera. Maybe im doing something wrong. Anyone got any help for this ? Or is this just how it is this year and im going to have to go back to normal view?

I made a similar thread about this last week. I loved that camera angle last year, but this year it's completely unplayable. Unless it's something they patch, I'll probably stick with the All 22 camera angle. It's disappointing because the camera angle works so well last year. I have no idea why they would change it to where the camera doesn't move when you switch to a new player. That's an incredibly bizarre design decision.

I don't understand. It works for me. So your player is getting locked in? Are you pushing down the joystick button? I think one of those buttons activates player lock or maybe you have that option enabled?

What he is saying is that when he switches to a different player the camera stays on the player he switched from even though he no longer controls that player.

Oh really?! Wow that must be a bug then and clearly sucks. I haven't had that issue yet.

If so i have a couple question : what system are you on? and what are you pressing to switch to new player? Because i loved this camera and im highly disappointed it was changed like this. I'm using PS4. I use mainly the LE. I'll then switch players by pressing O. When the ball is in the air, I press O and it switches to the defenders perspective.

What system are you using?

When the ball is in the air, I just press O and it goes to the nearest defender of the ball.

I'm having the same issue. I'm playing it on Xbox one. I don't even recall needing to press anything for the camera to follow a pass on defense, for madden 15. Am I missing something?

I am on the ps4. I have pressed O but while it does switch me to a different defender. The camera does not move to show the player i switched to at all during the play. Ill try to get some clips of it tonight to show you what im talking about .It is clearly not moving the camera to focus on the player i switched to though. I used this camera all of madden 15, and it is not working like that for me now in 16 .

Yes, it's essentially unusable on defense and I'm surprised we're not seeing more comments regarding this issue.

It switches and the camera turns but it doesn't zoom in

Yes, it's essentially unusable on defense and I'm surprised we're not seeing more comments regarding this issue.

So am i, its why i started the thread. Its not a bug, just seems like how it was made, and it needs fixing. It is rather unusable at this time and im not sure what happened to it. I am assuming it somehow has to do with how they made it so you dont actually have to switch to defender to get him to make the play on ball or wr according to you pressing the corresponding buttons . Its the only thing i can think of .

Please @Rex , help us!!!
