Will Madden Roster Editor work for Madden 16?

Curious if Madden 16 will work in Madden Roster Editor as every Madden game has in the past. Any guesses? Hopefully some of you are getting it on release date.

I would say certain attributes would work but I almost guarantee that there will be new fields added in M16. This would make it even more difficult to fully use unless we have an update to the editor. We might be able to partially use the editor but not fully functional. Thanks!

I would say it likely will be the same as it's been since '13.Should work for rosters but not in franchise ,unfortunately,like the old franchise modes

It's not been the same since 13 bud. There have been a select few field changes/additions especially from M25 to M15. We can still make it work with some tweaks & fixes but there certainly has been some added fields when opening from the editor. The biggest changes came from M25 to M15 with an additional 3 fields I believe. Thanks!

Yeah, this. I really don't buy want to buy this game until I know the Editor can be successfully used.

So what you're telling me is that you can open up a connected franchise file in the editor.This means you can edit draft classes and such.I wasn't aware of when this changed because I haven't bought a version since '12.I've been just going off what I presumed was correct.

You can't do that with anything beyond Madden 12, unfortunately. Just the main rosters, not CCM rosters. I miss custom draft classes.

That's what I should have added to my previous post. I should have mentioned this was from rosters only & nothing to do with CCM or draft classes. I wished we had editable draft class option with the editor. That would have been totally cool!

Sorry about that. I should have mentioned this could only be done for rosters & not for any CCM. The field attribute additions are the only changes in recent versions of Madden. Thanks!

Yeah it works. All the categories in the CSV are the same as Madden 15 also. I did a quick copy and paste of the Madden 16 CSV to a Madden 15 roster and it loaded right up. Rosterwise it's the same as Madden 15.

Thank heavens. This means I can easily transport my M15 roster I slaved over last year into M16. Thanks for the confirmation.

Also, since you have the game I'll just ask you. Can you use the sim-a-win feature in an offline franchise/career mode? Or is this only an online league feature?

Sorry, I don't have Madden 16. I just loaded a Madden 16 roster (Big Thanks to Chiryder85) onto Madden 15. EA simply didn't add anything new this year to the stat categories. They did the same thing in Madden 13 and Madden 25, I believe.

How does one get this to work for Madden 16?

I got it to open and I was able to edit it, but like when I tried for Madden 15, every file I edit says it's corrupt when I try and load into the game.

No matter if I do a completely new file. Any change I make...it says it's corrupt when I try and load into the game.

Are you trying to convert a Madden 15 roster to Madden 16?

To convert a M15 roster to M16 you need a M15 roster and a M16 roster. Make sure that both files have the same number of players.

In the editor on your M15 roster go to the Action tab. Select All Players, then Export. Now name and save the CSV file that you exported. Close your M15 roster.

Open your M16 roster in the editor. Go to the Action tab. Select All Players, then Import the CSV file that you just created. Then save the roster.

Note: Exporting and Importing the whole CSV file takes 30-60 seconds. It may look like the editor froze but it takes a little time to process all those players.
