This is why they need to add special teams audibles. It's especially annoying you can't audible your punt coverage; if you pick a normal punt but the return team is going for the block you should be able to bring in your blockers...or audible to a fake. (unless you can do this somehow and I'm just too stupid to figure it out)

You can audible kickoffs, there's just no onscreen prompt. On xbox 1 it's X -> X to go to regular return and X -> RB to onside IIRC

It's an online game mode where players were apparently abusing squib kicks and now us franchise players do not have access to it due to this.

Yea I had a couple of guys doing this in my CFM also last year, it was pretty cheesy I must say.

Some guy did the squib glitch against me in the AFCCG in my online CFM. I was up by 10 he scored his TD by rolling out waiting for the CB to leave his assignment then throwing to the wide open guy, then pulled out the squib glitch. He recovered and scored a TD to win. Then he was smug as all hell after the game saying things like "haha you suck" and "I won *****, deal with it." Anyways I'm still fuming after that and it was over a month ago. I actually requested that the commish not boot him, because I want to play him again, and when I do he's losing by 50, he wants cheese, well payback is a, well, you know.

Fix the glitch, not take out the play.

The 'quick fix' for PA end around and HB screen drag hot route was to just eliminate hot routes all together.

Understandable, as it does not hinder the outcome of a game. You can still run the play, as intended.

MUT was my primary source of H2H last year, so I've experience the finest grade a cheese out there.

Forcing players to either kick the ball deep for a potential TD kick return or an on side kick with 5 seconds left is absurd. I personally think it was just overlooked and not fully discussed.

I'm not coming directly at you haha, I just see this being a HUGE issue when online CFMs get rolling.

It's basically coming out in squib when the opponent expects an onside, kicking it over their head and recovering. It's something real NFL teams do but it was vastly overpowered.

Its when you're expecting an onside kick in an obvious onside situation, and your opponent squibs it vs your onside recovery team, they will recover it 100% of the time. Most of the time they will quick kick it as soon as possible to give as little time as possible to audible.

Squib kick is still in the game, you just aim the arrow all the way down, did some testing in practice.

It's basically coming out in squib when the opponent expects an onside, kicking it over their head and recovering. It's something real NFL teams do but it was vastly overpowered.

The basic glitch was due to the camera angles.
If you were in an onsides return formation & the squib kick went down the field, the camera would focus on where the ball 1st hits the ground. Then the ball keeps bouncing down the field & out of view of the camera.
So then kicking team's CPU controlled players would recover the ball off screen.
I didn't really know about the squib glitch until around January or so. After I heard about it I saw it tried in over 50% of ranked matches. lol

Actually squib kicking is in the game, I played with a team that had one, can't remember who, might have been the dolphins or texans, but my cowboys playbook doesn't have one.

Odd, It seems most playbooks don't have it in there. I have still yet to see the play in a play book or used against me.
