I can 100% honestly say that this is one of the best Maddens I've ever played, and I've been playing since Madden 2005.

The run game is magnificent, the movement feels realistic, the A.I. plays the way they should. Just an amazing job with this one man. The ONLY thing I would want changed if changes to happen, would be to tone down the aggressive catching a tad bit.....especially for receivers who do not have high ratings.

The way the defense plays is excellent and it requires a lot of patience and strategy to play defense this year. The way it should be. I'm saying this as a person who plays mostly online. I've put in over 50 online H2H games so far(MUT & Ranked) and the game plays great in those arenas too.

I'm seeing a lot of people complaining about the lack of defense or the player movement or OP catches. Do not cave in EA. Do not end up like 2K who brought out a final patch that destroyed a really good game in NBA 2K15.

You guys are winning right now. People will complain until they learn how to properly play the game. Lots of the top guys in MUT last year can't stand the game this year. That's ok. They will live.

Madden 16 could possibly go down as the greatest Madden ever if you guys stand your ground and only tune what REALLLLLLLY needs to be tuned.

I'm a long time hardcore Madden sim guy going back to the 90s. 2005 was probably Madden's best showing.

MADDEN HAS BEEN BROKEN FOR TEN YEARS. I mean, non-functional. The reason guys are so elated this year, and I agree with them, is that Madden actually works again. It truly looks and plays like the "next gen" title we were promised during the PS3 Gen transition. That whole generation of Madden was basically unplayable if you're a sim guy.

I have nothing but praise for the current Madden dev team. They have righted the ship and finally have this franchise moving in the right direction. The focus on legacy issue deserves all the love that's been heaped on it.

All I can say is, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, EA.

I agree that EA/Tiburon has made a great game with M16; the best Madden ever, IMO. I just hope that they do not cater to the complainers and nerf things any part of the game, including the perfectly fine Aggressive Catch system...

There are true bugs and issues, such as the Defensive Perspective camera, for example, that could use some adjusting so the camera switches to the new player the user switches to when they hit the "change player" button, but the game play in itself is very solid and a solid foundation for an even better M17.

It sounds like you're just trying to kick up dust and stir up some BS. Most people are generally happy with Madden 16. The patch that everyone is waiting on is to fix bugs in CFM. You're just bored man. Log off and go play the game.

lol someone loves to spam the aggressive catch. probably the type of person I ran into last night who got mad at quit after I was winning 7-3 and starting kneeling under 2 min

What in the Sam Hill are you talking about, son? Praising EA is "kicking up dust"? What planet do you live on?

Maybe you're new to the Madden game, and haven't been around for the ups and downs. But for those of us who have, it's high time we gave EA their due for getting some thing right.

Yea lets just move on. No idea where the Bs comment came from it was completely unwarranted.

I wouldn't say they made an awesome game yet. The CFM issues need to be quickly resolved and then I will give praise. The state they released that mode is disappointing. On the field it feels great to me.

This years game is great. As soon as the cfm issues are resolved I will happily say this years madden is the best in a decade. The on field play is however the best it's ever been in my opinion.

I agree that this year's Madden is a pretty good game. Has a lot of stuff that's improved upon.

I also agree that the aggressive catch needs to be tuned. It is way too efficient online against other human opponents, where sliders are not an option.

Has anybody seen a major issue with the xp able to be earned? I mean some of the career and season milestones are a joke. I may be able to upgrade like one meaningless stat, for setting multiple nfl records

Aggressive catch is fine. The one handed catches need to be toned down. I played a draft champions where I had Elway at QB and Megatron as #1, Vincent Jackson as my #2 and Cobb in the slot and I still completed around 25% of my deep passes but saw way too many one handed catches. And on aggressive catches in general I was probably around 30%.
