so only 10 college teams?

so looking through the college teams you can choose for your player, it seems a bit thin to me? No kentucky, no duke or unc, no cuse etc etc.. will these teams still have a chance at getting in or are we stuck with the 10 that are confirmed?

Are any of them "officially" confirmed at all? From my memory 2k still hasn't confirmed it just yet and I also remember reading that certain schools can sell their rights individually. I believe they do have Kentucky though since they've shown their logo and jerseys in the AD trailer.

I was reading on a website that there were 10 or 11 achivements and they listed the colleges you could choose. They could be wrong though

I think it's all speculation right now. I know the rumors started when they found 2K had copyrights on 10 or so college teams from a website or something like that, which those quickly got taken down. It's unsure if more teams would have been added onto that site before they caught on and removed all semblance of it, and like the other poster said, there's a number of teams that can license their rights individually

Hmmm, I don't remember the particular schools being listed in the achievements leak, but I do remember someone looking up college licenses and they had at least 10 confirmed licenses.

Yep it was: UCLA, UCONN, Louisville, Wisconsin, ASU, Arizona, Villanova, Texas, Georgetown, Michigan

Then there definitely has to be an agreement with Kentucky and Davidson since they are in the trailers and on the cover.

Exactly. The mere fact that we may have the ability to actually play some semblance of college basketball, potentially in a college atmosphere is really pretty huge. This has intrigued me since it was first rumored.

not if you despise every single one of those teams lol but yes that's good news.. hopefully they keep adding onto this addition to 2K or even get back into making college hoops

Kentucky's licensing isn't handled by the CLC, so if they're in the game, they wouldn't show up on the CLC website like those other schools are.

I'm happy with whatever they can do. I expect they will just be doing an Elite 8 or if they can muster up a few more schools a sweet 16 thing for MyCareer.

I never expected them to get a ton of schools just so we can play a couple extra games before going to the Pros in our Career. They wouldn't get much return on the money they spent on licensing if they did.

If they don't have Duke I'd be extremely disappointed. I'd rather be able to create a college than play as any of the 10 listed. Or skip college all together.
I like college basketball way more than the NBA, but not if it doesn't have Duke

Yep. People can feel how they feel, but I would take my ten most hated teams in real life in the game and not have one single complaint. Especially given the fact that any form of 2K college basketball has been gone for 8 years. Like TarHeelPhenom said the Heels are probably not in, but that is not lessening my enthusiasm the slightest bit.
