Quick background, I love sports games and mostly I love modes where you are the star, gives infinite amount of replayability.
As you can guess, I was very disappointed last year with the poor mode EA gave us.
But this year, I'm intrigued to say the least. I love the fact you'll get to shape your character by playing, and by simming, as the videos showed us. Just got 2 concerns for this year :
1- The sim a shift looks like very different from the original Action Tracker in 13 and 14, if we rely on the trailers, it's really just the time and score and SOGs changing until your next shift.
2- ''Around the league''. I love seeing who is injured, traded and such, and last year you had to go through the activity feed, which was limited in my opinion, and it seems to be a very similar interface in NHL 16 from what we've seen from trailers.
Anyway, I'm still happy that they revamped the coach's statements, unlike the last 3-4 years, and I believe the authentic arenas and general efforts put to improve the experience while playing will help immersion in this game mode.
Really looking forward to see more gameplay, and if we don't until September 10th (ea access), well can't wait to try this mode.
What do you guys think? Would love to get some opinions!
