Re: New Gameplay Footage from Nba 2k16
Game looks and plays great, can't wait.
I don't know why 2K allows this to happen every year though.. Why not beat the leakers to the punch and release a quarter/game of gameplay from 2 people in house instead of allowing the first gameplay impressions we have to be from the newly released Potato Cam 5.Comment

Re: New Gameplay Footage from Nba 2k16
Players are actually reaching for the ball.
No more zombies..they seem to be engaged.
Good defense adjustment..playing left right to cut off penetration.
Good contested shots, with better respond.
Looking real good.

Where are the Pink Diamonds??? That was the best part of NBA 2K15 knowing that I could get all the Pink Diamonds.

Re: New Gameplay Footage from Nba 2k16
I don't think they ever promised ZERO sliding. And as I said before, if you know anything about animation and physic modeling, you will know that you're not going to get perfect foot planting without losing something in the look and/or feel of the game in term of authenticity. CLEAR and noticeable progress has been made. Appreciate it for what it is.Game looks great as expected. I hate to be that guy but I have to point it out in hopes that the devs can tighten up. I still noticed some sliding on the court. It's most noticeable when defenders are in one on one coverage. I was really hoping this would've been completely eliminated but unfortunately I still noticed it. I also noticed it in the Scott OG gameplay clips when LeBron was guarding Melo. It's definitely not as bad as it was & it looks much improved but it's still there. I hope this can be tightened up. Other than that the game looks amazing even with this low res off camera footage.Last edited by Boilerbuzz; 09-07-2015, 11:18 PM.Comment

Well, it puts the TNT talk to bed, doesn't it? And for most people, the 2K15.2 talk as well, but I'm sure we'll get one of those trolls in this thread eventually.

Re: New Gameplay Footage from Nba 2k16
You guys see the way Kyrie sped up on the fast break on LeBron's 2nd dunk? Seems like an artificial speed boost on the fast break. He's 2 feet behind Love and then all of a sudden he's 10+ feet ahead of him. Looks like we'll finally be able to do proper numbers advantage fast breaks. However, it looks extremely weird and awkward seeing every player on the court running full speed and then they all slowing down to a walk at the exact same time as soon as LeBron dunks it.
I feel like we need more jogging animations in the game. In past 2K's you'll often switch to a player and their turbo energy will be completely drained because the CPU blows it when the situation doesn't call for it. A 3 on 1 fast break with no chance of getting back to contend the shot is one of those situations.Last edited by DakkoN; 09-08-2015, 06:53 AM.Comment

Re: New Gameplay Footage from Nba 2k16
Hey Guys,
the video LBJay postet was made by a friend of us and member of our german online league.
I can tell you some more stuff including his conclusion from his own playing
The vid you can see was played by his ( not very experienced ) friend against the CPU Cavaliers.
- nobody knows on which difficulty the game was ( rookie or HoF? )
- CPU Teammates taking steals on their own
- Postplay is a little more difficult with a little less success
- Post Fade and Post Up an Under ist more difficult
- Big Players makes the basket easier with contact against smaller opponents
- You couldn't call Plays in the game
- You can pass the ball with x / circle / triangle ( 3 different passes )
- to call a screen you do not have to push circle anymore. You have to push L1 to start and then R1 to decide if roll or fade
- you can tell 2K to which side you want the block
- there was less fouls
- Arenas and Fans looks really amazing
Just 17 more days of waiting - Greatness is comingComment
