Re: New Gameplay Footage from Nba 2k16
I don't know if the quality of the video was playing tricks on my eyes, but in the first video, after the ball was inbounded at 1:52, it looked like LeBron skipped or did a lazy trot across mid-court. Are signature walk-ups in the game this year? I would like to have seen the user walk up the court instead of sprinting up the court every possession.

Re: NBA 2K16 Gameplay Footage Leaked
Couple things I noticed that I love
1. The AI REALLY makes you pay for poor basketball decisions, it's beautiful
2. Movement is more "fluid" and life like, could tell right off the bat.
3. The passing is much faster and much improved it seems.
4. The AI doesn't consistently just attack basket. Love the mid range pull ups and 3 point shots
5. The AI doesn't make everything it puts up, it's great seeing them miss some wide open shots.
I can't wait for this freaking game.

Re: NBA 2K16 Gameplay Footage Leaked
A couple of take-aways:
- Big men are not getting clogged in the transition as they did in 2K15 (+)
- Smll differences in presentation make 2K16 fresh yet not abruptly so (+)
- Off-ball movement for defense looked active and pro-active. (+)
- Some inbounds were still delayed by animations Same issue 2K15 had (-)
- Some defenders were in the paint too long w/o being called on it (-)
Other than those general impressions, I am looking forward to the release date.
Thanks to those guys who took the footage and then brought it to us.Comment

I don't think they ever promised ZERO sliding. And as I said before, if you know anything about animation and physic modeling, you will know that you're not going to get perfect foot planting without losing something in the look and/or feel of the game in term of authenticity. CLEAR and noticeable progress has been made. Appreciate it for what it is.Comment

Re: New Gameplay Footage from Nba 2k16
first thing i notice is that the player movement and animations overall have a "smoother" look to them (slightly less "jerkiness" when branching between motions), but the movement also seems a bit slower...although that's hard to determine until you get it into your hands.
it doesn't look like it will FEEL drastically different from 2k15, but it will look better (various movements look efficient and "contextually appropriate" for each situation like they did in 2k15, which is good...but just visually "smoother" than they were in 2k15 and with more variety). looks like it's a more polished version of what they had built in 2k15, which is good and what i would expect.
seeing more variety in the movement, like various walking dribble animations, etc.Last edited by blues rocker; 09-08-2015, 10:56 AM.Comment

Some things I noticed after watching for the first time:
- More realistic player-court ratio - check
- Slightly slower and more realistic player movement. - check
- And better animations with that - check
- More realistic shooting and AI behavior - check
- Much improved spacing and offense/defence tactics - check
This was enough for me to know I will spend hundreds of hours with this game. The only thing that`s missing is foul detection which was horrendous in 2K15 and I hope they fixed it in 2K16. Beside that i was amazed with what I saw in that blur-festive video...Comment
