    Superstar Dev XP Gains

I'm noticing different XP gains for superstar developing players during drills. One superstar QB on one user team has a range of 110-284 XP in the weekly drills, and when completing a drill he gets almost all of the 284.

But on another user team (neither coach has purchased the extra game prep package, btw) a superstar dev QB completes the same drills (and has the same range) but only scores 150-160 XP for completing it. This doesn't matter whether it's a trophy drill and the same trophy level is reached or one of the coverage lessons that have no trophies.

Any ideas what the missing X-factor I'm not seeing here is?

Coach Level could be having an impact, if the two coaches levels are different:

The different between slow, normal, quick and superstar is the amount of XP you get in game for performance. Consistency rating combined with double xp is what gets you game prep points

I thought consistency determined how often that player played too his ratings.

"Consistency" as the term was used in Madden was redefined with the introduction of Game Prep in Madden NFL 15 to focus solely on player progression game mechanics. As far as I know, the Dynamic Player Performance function of Consistency introduced in Madden NFL 12 (which is what you are referring to) is no longer a thing.

It may just be all in my head, but I thought Consistency was pretty important in-game for players in 15. David Fales was decent all game while Jay Cutler would be amazing some throws then god-awful at other times. Difference, despite their vast OVR difference (70ish vs 88ish)? Fales had a Consistency above 70 and Cutlers was like 25.

Lets keep in mind Confidence plays a role as well.

Consistency may strictly affect Progression. While confidence affects in game overall.

When you go to upgrade a players consistency, it states that consistency affects a players xp during game prep drills

                      Re: Superstar Dev XP Gains

Alright, to sort of sum this up:

                      In-Game Effects:
                      • Confidence affects OVR, which may lead to better/worse performances that could yield a certain level of XP gained for completing drive goals, etc.
                      • The player's development speed (superstar, quick, normal, slow) determines how much XP is provided for these performances and goals.

                      Game Prep Effects:
                      • Consistency affects how much XP is awarded when you complete a drill or one of the standard XP game prep functions. The lower the consistency rating, the less XP is gained by the player no matter the dev speed of the player, although the ceiling for higher dev is still higher.
                      • The coach's level impacts the amount of XP earned by a player.
                      • The coach's XP package and positional Game Prep packages further influence the amount of XP gained by players.

Do the extra packages and the coach level also increase what's earned by a player completing drive/game/milestone goals or are they strictly game prep?

There is one coaches package that is for game day experience and it is for the entire team. The other is for game prep and it is for individual positions.
