Yeah exactly, some kind of restriction was really necessary since you'd see 4 SF + C/3 SF + 2C lineups more often than any traditional lineup.

If they took out 12-13 Heat and added 2002 Nets then I wouldn't have a problem with any of these teams. I'm excited to play with every single one of them, especially the '05 Suns, '04 Timberwolves, and '03 Mavericks.
Cavs 07 IMO. I think they'll add other teams in future 2k, but i agree instead of the 13 Heat should be the Nets 02 Kings 02 or Spurs 05.

The gauntlet sounds amazing. That's really going to be interesting.

My only worry so far is the shoe cards. I hate boost cards in ultimate team modes. They are extremely cheesy in my opinion and very abusable. Especially in a game like this, where the players already have high stats to start off with.

I don't want to play rich people who have a Curry card that they've given a card that maxes out their three point rating and other shooting stats for multiple games.

Does anybody know if 2k has said what the myteam online difficulty will be?

Well the first round of the gauntlet is all star. Hopefully that doesn't make myteam the same experience like 2k15, everyone you play online takes way too many 3s.

Loving the new additions, but there's still one huge problem, which is the abuse of the CE on PC, people will rush through the domination mode in 2hrs and have already the sickest lineup on day one. I hope 2K has a fix for this, I'll watch this carefully on the first day and consider a refund.

It varies, domination was on Pro, RTTP started out on rookie and ended on SS, they were a couple of challenges on HOF, a few on SS, most were on Pro or All Star.

Play with Friends was on Pro. Which is ridiculous not to have custom settings for Play With Friends.

Overall MyTeam difficulty settings are causal friendly.

I don't get the cards games, you play to unlock online cards? Is there a normal street mode or only in that card mode?

The difficulty is really a problem with online modes. The percentages of shots being made should be the same across all difficulties. I think the only difference difficulties should be how smart the cpu ai is.

Difficulty between two players should always be dependent on the skills of the user instead of allowing people to make easy 3s in 2k15 because of the difficulty.

You collect cards buy buying them with earned points, drawing them from packs, or earning them by beating challenges. You can use the cards you have to create your team, though you are often restricted as to which cards you are allowed to use.

                          I will say it AGAIN...

                          Position restrictions are not needed.

Why, oh, why would 2K put positional restrictions in MyTeam at a time when like 2/3 of the NBA is starting to play 'position-less' basketball? When teams like the Pacers and Raptors are talking about playing guys like Paul George and Demarre Carroll at PF...

You fix those problems by fixing GAMEPLAY. And looking at all the gameplay adjustments they've made, especially on defense, I think we'll see a lot less cheese.

I love the customization options...long overdue and now give users a sense of 'ownership" of their MyTeam.

I like the addition of Dynamic cards...but part of me feels like all the cards should be dynamic. But...on the bright side, it does sort of provide a built-in 'throwback' version of each player based on his performance last season.

Looks like they've taken the 'Moment' idea from Madden...I'm not gonna lie, not a fan of this. All it does is create overpowered cards of certain players after they have a couple good games.

Example - JR Smith has a game where he gets hot and makes 10 3's...a day or two later, there is a JR Smith 'Moment' card with a 95 rating in 3PT. Result - instant cheese.

Hopefully the comment on 'free agents' means we will have access to players who are in the free agent pool. I know it's not likely to be incredibly popular...but why not also give us access to the EuroLeague players?

As others mentioned, I'd be interested in hearing if RTTP has changed...or if there are ways to choose the 'level' or roster restriction you play at. Sort of like Challenges but against other real players, not the CPU.

Or at least have the option to go back and play at a lower level of RTTP if you want. Sorry, but sometimes I actually enjoy playing with more realistic teams and NOT teams with 12 All Stars.

I've always started playing my team around the all-star break and so I am always behind in the MT game.

These changes have me hyped enough to start my team on day 1. Unlike the old games there will be so much more to do once the domination and challenges are finished.

Is there any way we can edit the halfcourt line that is going through the team logos?

Well yeah it is. The game mode is based around player cards and collecting them so it's pretty disappointing when the thing you're going to be looking at and focusing on for 12 months looks like baby's first photoshop.
