Just played my fist game with the sliders and new rosters in CFM. I was the Bears.
Notes:
-First half was realistic except I felt like Lacy shouldve gotten more than 6 carries in the first half. GB didnt run the football once inside my 10 yard line, which made it easy to defend the pass only after the first touchdown.
-Second half Rodgers kept throwing the ball, but the Packers went for less 10+ yard throws and more drags, hitches, and slants to keep possesion.
-The Packers had two three and out drives in the fourth quarter, the only two possessions they had. The first one was a run of 2 by Lacy, a gain of 1 by Lacy, and a sack by Cornelius Washington on Rodgers to force a punt. The second one was a run of 6 by Lacy, no gain for Starks, then a loss of 4 by Starks on a toss where no one blocked the corner and safety who made the play.
- I really felt like my defense couldn't do anything the first three quarters, which caused my to go for it on fourth and inches at the Packers 20, and Clay Matthews stuffed Matt Forte behind the line.
- Jay Cutler had a huge 20 something yard TD run on the same drive earlier, but it was called back due to holding
- Jay Cutler also missed a wide open Josh Bellamy on 4th and 15 with 1 minute left to go on a play that might've been a touchdown but at least wouldve put us in Packer territory
- I played with 12 minute quarters, something I will change to 15 minutes for the next game.
Just a question. Has anyone else who played against the Packers in CFM found they do not run the ball at all?
